CHAPTER 24: "Mordor"

Katie woke up. In one corner I could see a strange creature with big blue eyes and his skin was pale. He was very slim. He had no hair and he was wearing a loincloth as clothing. He looked afraid so I thought he would not be a threat for us.

"Hey you!" I said to the creature.

"Me?!" said the creature with a very high voice.

"Yes!!" I said. "What's your name?" I asked him.

"Gollum" he said.

"Hi Gollum. I am Marta and this is Katie" I said to him.

"What are you doing?" Katie whispered to me. "He could be the enemy!!" she yelled.

"Look at him. he is terrified" I said to her. "Gollum, could you tell us where are we, please?" I asked him.

"Mordor" he said.

"Could you find a way to get out of here?" I asked him.

"Yes!" he said.

"Do you know who is the Prince of Mirkwood? Legolas?" I asked him.

"Green clothes and pointy ears with blue eyes and blond hair, yes, Gollum knows who he is....Gollum!" he said.

"Could you tell him we are here? He is in Rivendell right now... I think" I said.

He nodded and ran away through the window. Suddenly, someone opened the door. It was an elf. his face was so familiar to me...

"Celahir?" I asked him. He nodded. He was...different. He was wearing another clothes...dark clothes.

"Could you help us to get out of here?" Katie asked.

He walked towards me. He grabbed my face with both hands. I watched how his lips were approaching mine and I refused. Finally, he kissed me but I bit him and made ​​him bleed. He hit me making me a scratch on my face. He turned away and gave us a wicked grin. I started to cry. In that moment I'd wish Legolas was here.

Suddenly, two figures appeared. One was Saruman and the other figure was wearing old dark clothes and he had long dark hair and he has grey eyes.

"Did you think you would be safe?" Saruman said. We looked at the other man. "This is Wormtongue. He is a spy. He has been watching what the King of the elves was doing" He said looking at him.

"What do you want for us?" Katie asked him.

"Your blood..." He said.

"Why?" I asked him.

"Long were the years that my Lord had to wait" Saruman said.

"Who is your Lord?" I asked him.

"Sauron. He sees and knows everything. He is the darkness, he is the fear, he is the fire and the power to rule this world. He has a powerful weapon and he will use it to end every be living who opposes him" Saruman said with a smile on his face. I looked at the table. There it was. Thranduil's old spell book.

"Why do you need it?" I asked him pointing at the book.

"I'm not telling you. It's a secret" Saruman said.

Saruman pulled out a dagger.

"My lord wait" Wormtoung said.

"Do we really need both of them for the spell? I am sure she is capable of doing it" He said pointing at me. "This one could prove useful" He put his nose to Katie's neck and had his hand on her arm . She tried to move but it was hard.

"No we need them both now get the horses ready" Saruman said. Wormtongue kissed Katie's neck and he left the room.

He cut us on our arm and took some drops of our blood. He said something in a strange language and he pointed at us with a hand.

I don't know what that was but I felt worse for a second, like something crashed on my chest and I couldn't breathe. I looked at Katie and I knew she felt the same. Suddenly, our chains got broken.

"Go away! You both have two horses in the front door" Saruman said. We ran as fast as we could.

The black door opened. There were so many orcs. We took our horses and ran away.

We left that place and in the middle of the way we found Gollum.

"Gollum!!!" I yelled.

"Ladies!! I was going to look for pointy ears" Gollum said.

"Can you show us the way to Rivendell?" Katie said.

"Gollum can show the safer way" Gollum said.

"Show us!" Katie said.

"As you like...Gollum!" he said.

I grabbed Gollum and I got him on my horse. We started our way to Rivendell.
