CHAPTER 11: "Isengard"

"You said what?!" I asked Marta as we cleaned up the next day.

"I told Legolas that I love him"said Marta with a sweet smile.

"Oh Marta that's great" I said.

"You should tell Kili"she said.

"Tell him, what?" I asked to her.

"That you love him!!" she said.

"I want to but I don't know. It just has not been the right time" I said.

"Are you ready, ladies?"asked Fili. We turned to see Fili.

"Yes" we said at the same time.

Insengard was nothing like Minas Tirith or Mirkwood. There was one tall big back tower and a stone platform.

"Do we have to go in there?" I asked.

"It will be ok" Kili said and helped me down. "Legolas and I will be right there with you" said Kili

"Legolas" A male voice from behind us said.

Standing there was an elf with long hair blond hair like Legolas and he had armor on and behind him there were an army of elves.

"Haldir what are you doing here?" Legolas asked. He was so happy seeing Haldir.

"We were sent by Lady Galadriel. She wanted to make sure you were save" He looked at Marta and me.

"Thank you" Kili said.

"Now listen. Once they get the pearl, bring them back to edge of Lórien. There Lady Galadriel will be waiting" The boys nodded. "Now go, we can only hold them off for so long" said Haldir.

Fili and Thorin stayed behind to help. The door was opened. I had a bad feeling like he knew we were coming.

"Where is it?" Marta asked.

"At the top of the stairs. You girls go. We will cover you" said Legolas.

Marta started to go.

"Kili..." I wanted to tell him so bad. I wanted to feel his lips on mine.

"It's okay. Go!" said Kili.

I could feel the tears coming but I followed Marta before he could see them.We hurried up the stairs.

We soon came to what looked like a throne room.

"This guy must like black." I said. Marta chuckled. She then went over to a stand that a black cloth over something.

"I wonder what this is."

I then saw it. A small glittering stone.

"Marta, look!" I said to her.

She saw it too. She took it.

"I knew you would come" said a voice.

We turned. Standing there was a man with a long white beard and long white hair. He was wearing a white old robe. Then, he raised his staff and we were tossed up against the wall and we could not move. He looked angry.

"Did you really think I, Saruman, would let you come here and ruin my plan? I will not let little girls and make the prophecy come true" said Saruman angrily.

"Katie!"

Legolas and Kili showed up.

"Oh!. Wonderful." He raised his staff and they were stopped in there tracks. I looked at Kili. He look scared and angry.

"You see, I have been watching you. I know your feelings. How you may ask?" He went to the stand and pulled off the cloth. "Yes, you Legolas and Kili know what this is. My palandir" There was a red light coming from it. "My Lord and I will make sure you don't fulfill the prophecy"said Saruman.

Then a huge white light came threw the window and knocked Saruman off his feet. Marta and I were able to move.

"Have yougot the pearl?" said Legolas.

"Yes" Marta said.

"Good girl." Marta smiled.

"Come on. Let's go!" Kili grabbed my hand and we ran.

We took our horses and run as we could.
