CHAPTER 18: "Back to Middle Earth"

My alarm went off. I got out bed with out bothering Kili. I looked over at him. He was so peaceful sleeping. I debated on whether to get dress in my room or not. I got a sweater dress out and leggings and headed out.

"Where are you going?" I turned Kili's eyes where opened but he was still in bed.

"I'm going to change" I said.

"Don't leave on my account"

I smiled and walked over to him. "We are not there yet Kili" I whispered to him and then,I kissed him. He smiled.

"Okay I will cover my eyes and I give my word as a dwarf. I won't look"

"Okay" I said. He put his head under the blanket.

I changed and then put my head under the blanket.

"Hi" I said to Kili.

"Hi" he said. We kissed.

"Katie we gotta hurry" Marta said as she walked pasted my door.

"I'm coming!!" I said.Kili followed.

"Come on Marta, let us come." Legolas said.

"Come where?" Kili asked.

"We have to go to school" I said.

"What is that?" Kili asked.

"It's a place where we learn things" Marta said as she got some toast.

"And why can't we come?" Kili asked.

"Because there is no danger and it might be wired a few new guys in the classes" I said as I poured coffee.

"Beside you will be happy here" Marta said.

We kissed them goodbye and walk the 15 minutes to school. The first class was history. I like history but our teacher tends to talk on and on. I found myself gazing out the window. What I saw made me jump. Everyone looked at me.

"Um sorry. I thought I felt something on me" I said to the teacher.

The teacher got back to talk. I poked Marta and pointed her to the window. She left the class room first then I did. We walked towards a tree.

"Legolas get down from there" Marta said. Everybody was looking. Swiftly and quite he was down.

"What are you guys doing here?" I asked.

"We came to protect you." Kili said. We just smiled.

Then, I saw something from the corner of my eye. I looked over. I saw a white figure and red figure. The white figure was fighting the red figure.

"Katie?" Kili touched my arm. I gasped. "Are you ok?"

"Um..." I looked and the figure was gone. "...Yes, I'm fine"

"Okay since you guys are here why don't you go to that building? It's the library. You should be safe we will be back soon."

"Are you sure you are okay?" Kili asked. Concerned was in eyes.

"Yes, just go" I said.

He kissed my forehead and he and Legolas went to the library.After two classes we headed to the library. Legolas was reading the last Harry Potter book and Kili was reading The notebook. Which I was shocked by but he seemed to like it.

"Hi" Marta said.

"Mae govannen" Legolas said and he put a hand on his heart and made a bow to us.I sat down by Kili.

"What are you reading?" I asked him.

"Just a book" he said.

"You are reading a love story" I said.

"No, I am not" he tried to hide.

"It's okay" I took the book. "I like when a guy reads love story" he smiled.

"Come on. Let's go eat." Marta said.

We took them down to get something to eat.

"Oh no!!" Marta whispered.

"What?" I asked her.

"Alison" she said.

I turned to see a bleached blonde short skirt with boots coming our way. She was skinny. She has got brown eyes and her hair was short and dark.

"Hello Marta, Katie, and hello..." She was eyeing Legolas. "I have never seen cute a blond hair blue eye guy before. I'm Alison" she said.

"I am Legolas" Legolas said.

"You must be from Europe. Are you seeing you any one" Alison said. Legolas smiled. Marta elbowed him.

"I am sorry" He said.

"Well see you around" Alison said while she was looking at Legolas.

"God, I hate her" Marta said.

"Why? She seems nice" Legolas said while he was looking at her.

"She is not. She is a horrible evil person" I said.

"Katie I'm surprise of you talk about someone like that." Kili said.I chuckled.

"It's true. She told everyone these lies about us" Marta said.

"Well someone who will would do that to be girls does not earn are pity, right Kili?" Legolas said.

"Right" he said. Marta and I hugged them.

"Oh my gosh!" Marta said.

"What?" I asked.

"I just saw something. This figure was dressed all in white" Marta said.

"Did he had a beard?" I asked her. Marta nodded. "I saw it too" I said.

Kili and Legolas looked at each other.

"Do you guys know who it is?" I asked them.They nodded.

"The way as you are describing him, he must be Gandalf. He is a powerful wizard" Kili said.

"What is he doing here?" Marta asked.

"I don't know" Kili said.

We headed out side when Legolas stopped. Legolas's expression changed. He turned serious.

"What is it?" Marta asked him.

"An elf is here" he said.

He hurried to some trees and we followed them. Behind them was an elf. The elf was tall and thin. He had long brown hair and he was wearing a crown on his forehead.

"Lindir!!" Legolas said. Lindir was terrified. " He is a servant of the house of Elrond" Legolas kept saying.

"What's going on?" Kili asked.
"Thranduil is with Elrond. Elrond sent me here. You need to come back to Middle Earth. Mirkwood is in danger!"

"But how?" I asked.

"Lady Galadriel gave me a spell quickly we need to hold hands" Lindir said. I took Kili and Marta's hand. He spoke the words and suddenly we were back in Middle Earth.
