CHAPTER 33: "The Party"

The music started to play. It felt like we were lost in a daydream forever. There were some lanterns hanged by the trees, in every color and on the ground there were blankets blues and oranges with a big pillow in every one. Everybody was dancing except Eowyn and me. Katie was dancing with Gandalf.

"Why don't you dance?" Eowyn asked me.

"I want to stay here a little. I'm a bit tired. I have been dancing" I said to her.

Kili and Fili were running like kids.

"Hey Kili! Do you want to make a drinking game?" He asked him.

"Of course, any way to make your cheecks turn to red is perfect" Kili said.

Gandalf heard about the game and decided to put a table with some cups. He was going to direct everything. Kili and Fili were in front of the table and suddenly everybody was aound the table. Some of them were shouting Kili's name and other Fili's name. Of course Katie was shouting the name of her husband. Legolas didn't say nothing; he was laughing and drinking with other elves.

"Let the game begin" Gandalf said with a big smile.

Some minutes later Fili and Kili were a bit drunk but Kili won at the end. Some people were shounting his name and he came to where Katie was and hugged her.

"I only let you win because it's your wedding" Fili said.

"Of course" Kili said and he laughed at him

"Well at least you both drank" Katie said and she looked at me and we both laughed at them.

We sat on some blankets, I sat with Eowyn and Galadriel. Legolas was with his dad and Tauriel was with them as well. Kili and Katie were on the middle of the ground. It was the first dance as wife and husband, Arwen started to sing for them with some music.

When she finish the song, we clapped them and in no time, music started to playing agan but different. Everybody was to where Katie and Kili were and they started dancing. I saw where Legolas was to dance with him. My eyes were looking for him but I stopped and stare to one couple next to Kili and Katie. Tauriel and Legolas were dancing. Katie looked at me, she could feel my pain.

Someone touched my hand. It was Thorin. He asked me to dance with him and I accepted dancing with him. My heart jumped.

In the next song, Katie and I danced.

"You were lucky dancing with Thorin" she said.

"Oh! shut up!" I whispered to her and we both laughed.

"What are the girls talking about?" Kili asked.

"Oh!! Girl's stuff!" Katie said to him laughing. "You won't understand" she finished the sentence. We laughed.

Gloin put a chair made of wood in the middle, and Balin took Katie and told her to sit down.

Suddenly, Kili appears and grabbed Katie's dress up, showing her leg off.

"What are you doing?" Katie said laughing. Her cheecks turned to red.

"The garter..." he said.

"Ummm... okay" she said laughing at it.

With his mouth, he was trying to take it off. He made Katie jump some times always laughing.

Finally he could take it off and throw it and Legolas caught it. Everybody laughed.

Katie was about to throw her flowers to the ladies.

"Ready?" she asked us.

"Yes!!" Eowyn shouted laughing. she was a little bit drunk.

"Three...Two...One...Catch it!!!" she said.

I didn't realized for a few minutes that I had the flowers on my hands. Katie came laughing to where I was.

"Congratulations, you will be the next one to get married" she said. My cheecks were red.

"...but who with?" I whispered to her.

Katie looked at Legolas. He was talking and laughing with Tauriel so he didn't realized I took the flowers. I looked at Thorin. He was looking at me with a smile. I started to put nervous.
