CHAPTER 17: "Staying in"

The alarm clock rang. I woke up and saw Legolas next to me; he was awake. It was Monday. Even though I felt better, I decided to stay at home. Kili came into my bedroom.

"Katie has just throw up" said Kili. He was white.

"Are you okay?" I asked him.

"No, I think I'm sick too" said Kili.

"Go to rest. I'm going to get some water" I said to him.

Kili came out and when to Katie's bedroom. Legolas stayed in my bedroom. I went to the kitchen to get some water for Katie and Kili. I decided to phone a classmate and tell her that Katie and I coulnd't go to college because of the flu. Our classmate is Jamie. She is our best friend at college. We trust in her and she trust in us. We go together to everywhere. If one of us need a dress, the other two will help to find a dress.

I grabbed the water and two cups and I went to Katie's room. I saw Kili hugging Katie and she was singing him a song:

"...Just close your eyes

The sun is going down

You'll be alright

No one can hurt you now

Come morning light

You and I'll be safe and sound..."

"Hey! I brought you some water for both of you" I said to Katie. Kili fell asleep.

"Thank you" said Katie.

"I called Jamie and I told her we were sick. She told me she will come this afternoon to bring us the homework" I said.

"Okay" she said with a smile.

I left the room, I let them to rest. I went to the kitchen and I started to think what I could for lunch.

Instead of thinking about what I could do, I thought in Saruman and I really wanted to know why he was chasing us or if that would be the end, and he will forget about us.

"What are you thinking about?" asked me Legolas. I didn't realize he was there.

"About nothing. I just I don't know what to make for lunch" I said. I didn't want to talk about Saruman.

"I got something for you the day I met your father" he said. And he gave me a heart shaped lollipop.

"Thank you!" I said to him and I smiled. He gave me a kiss on my hand and we hugged.

Katie and Kili were going downstairs when someone knocked on the door. I opened the door and I saw Jamie. Jamie has black short hair and brown eyes. She had a big amile on her face.

"How are you feeling?" she asked me while she was coming in.

"Better, thank you" I said. She was staring at Legolas and Kili. She didn't go the party that day.

"and these guys are...?" she asked. She was amazed.

"This is Legolas and Kili" said Katie. "We were about to tell you. you won't believe us" said Katie.

Then, Katie, Jamie and I decided to go to the kitchen and we started talking about Middle Earth, how we met, the danger we have been in and Legolas and Kili were sitting on the sofa listening but they didn't talk.

"I know what's going on. You both met this guys in another college. You had those dreams because of the illness!!!" said Jamie.

"And we had the same dream at the same time, right?" I followed her game.

"Telepathy" she said. "I have to go. I let your homework here. I see you tomorrow. Nice to meet you guys!" she said. She left.

"What did she say about it?" asked Legolas.

"She didn't believe us. She thinks it was a dream" said Katie.

"That's okay" said Kili.

We had dinner and after that, we showed the guys how to use the shower. Kili was amazed when he saw it was hot water.

"It's a waterfall but with hot water!!" said Kili to Legolas.

"Do we have to shower together?" said Legolas looking at Kili.

"You could have a shower in the other bathroom" I said.

"Better" Legolas whispered. Katie laughed.

"And what if my Lady has a shower with me?" asked Kili to Katie. Legolas hint him. I laughed.

"No" said Katie and we left the bathroom laughing.

We left them on the bed some towels. The door was half-close and Katie was looking.

"What are you looking at?" I asked to Katie.

"The boys..." she whispered. I looked too. They were wearing their pants and we could see their muscles.

"I never saw a hot dwarf before!" whispered Katie. The guys looked at the door but we hid.

"Shut up!! They almost see us!" I whisper to her laughing.

"You know what Greenleaf?" asked Kili. The way he was asking that, they knew we were there but we kept hidden.

"What?" he asked.

"It's a shame the girls are not here. They could see our muscles" said Kili. We laughed.

"What muscles?" said Legolas to him. He was touching Kili's arms like teasing at him.

We laughed. Kili opened the door and we started to run to my bedroom. We locked the door. We couldn't stop laughing.
