Detroit, MI:

"Ms. Price, again, for the jury your husband was at home at the time of said murder right?" Monica asked her last question.

"Yes." Ms. Price responded as Monica sat back down.

"Ms. Price, Sierra, can I call you that?" Isabella asked from her seat with a warm smile on her face. It made Ms. Price feel safe, and that's what Izzy wanted.

"Yes, that's fine."

"From my understanding the search was conducted at your home, or is it you and Mr. Lee's home?" She asked.

"It's both of our homes, we've been together 10 years."

"According to this lease it's just supposed to be you living in the home, your landlord told my detectives he didn't even know Mr. Lee was on the premises." Isabella said as she stood up walking over to the witness stand handing over the leasing agreement.

"Objection, relevance?" Monica asked.

"I mean if she's lying about this, what else is she lying about? How about the facebook posts you made telling friends and family you're married, but there's no marriage license on file for you two."

"Overruled." The judge replied.

"So if you'll lie about your marital status, lie about who's living in your home, you'd kill and steal too, and since your name is on the lease and we found the murder weapon and illegal drugs in your home maybe we should have arrested you, right Sierra?"

"Yes? I mean no?-"

"Your honor she's badgering my witness." Monica said standing up.

"Witness will answer."

"Ms. Price, were you with your husband the night of the murder? Or what was the story? His friend came over all bloody and asked him to hide the murder weapon?"

"He wasn't home with me." She admitted as she busted out in tears.

"Thank you for being honest Sierra, you have kids to get home to. Mr. Lee was selfish to put you in this position, don't go down the hole with him." Izzy spoke reassuringly and that'd won her some points with the jury. "Prosecution rests your honor."

"Your honor, I need a ten minute recess to talk to my client." Monica spoke as she stood up.

"Your honor she's either going to put her client on the stand or she's not, he asked for a speedy trial and now that we're speeding they're ready to slow down?" Izzy asked sarcastically and Monica chuckled, she was just happy to see her best friend in her element.
