Detroit, MI:
Ellie sipped her wine as Lilah laughed at the TV, "Girl you need to hide!" Lilah shouted at the TV. She was laying across the couch with her head rested in Ellie's lap.
"You yell at this TV again, you gone need to hide." Ellie mumbled making Lilah laugh again, Ellie's phone started ringing she reached over grabbing it off the table next to her. "Hey Izzy." She answered immediately sitting down her glass of wine.
"It's Ambrose, do you think Lilah could handle all of her appointments tomorrow? She's been spazzin' about everything lately, I wanna give her break." He said, after what Ambrose saw what Izzy had done to Sheila and the way she acted today to get to Monica, Ambrose didn't need her losing everything she'd worked so hard for.
"Now you know I got it." Ellie replied, "I'll drop off her dry cleaning on lunch tomorrow."
"Thanks El." He said.
"No problem Mr. Marvel." She replied before disconnecting the call, a knock on Lilah's door grabbed their attention. "You expecting company?" Ellie asked Lilah who sat up.
"No." Lilah replied, Ellie got up making her way over to the front door opening it seeing Monica.
"You're like a fly that won't go away." Monica said not happy to see Ellie.
"I was invited, unlike you. So who's the fly here?" Ellie asked, Monica attempted to force her way in and she didn't realize how strong Ellie was. Ellie pushed her back nearly making her stumble and fall. "Why are you here?"
"I need to talk to Lilah."
"Lilah, you wanna talk to Monica?" Ellie asked looking over at Lilah, she shook her head no. "Okay, that's what I thought."
"Bitch would you fuckin mind your business-" When Monica attempted to hit Ellie, Ellie caught her wrist in the process.
"I'll be right back Lilah." She said, she'd still had Monica's wrist in her grip. She shoved Monica outside closing the front door behind them.
"Let me go-" Ellie grabbed Monica by her throat yanking her up and slamming her against the front door.
"I'm drunk, I'm tired, my feet hurt and you wanna play crazy bitch aht aht.." Monica had looked away from Ellie, "Nah." She grabbed Monica's jaw roughly with her free hand making her look at her. "Look at me, Monica.." She spoke sternly and oddly Ellie was making Monica feel something different. A familiar feeling she'd always tried to hide, her parents words eating at her about how sick it was. "I see you." Ellie mumbled as she'd pressed her body against Monica's, her lips were only inches away from Monica's. "Go home, and I don't wanna have to talk to you again or we'll have problems...okay?" Monica nodded, Ellie's eyes traveled down to Monica's lips. "You're way too pretty..." Ellie's thumb traced over her bottom lip before she let Monica go. "To be acting so ugly."
