Detroit, MI:
Aries made her 3-point shot and the crowd went crazy, "Do it every single time Aries, they don't wanna play like a team remind them they need you!" Ambrose shouted from the sidelines.
"Ambrose that was a long shot!" Dylan spoke excitedly, both Dylan and Junior were standing on the sidelines with him along with Justin and Austin's kids.
"Damn right and she's going to do it again watch lil man." Ambrose said picking Dylan up. "Aries steal that ball!" Ambrose shouted, and she stopped guarding her person trapping the other person with the ball, when she tried to pass it out, Aries tipped the ball and ran after it picking it up in the process, she dribbled down the court and as usual she saw her dad running next to her down the court with Dylan in his arms, and Junior right behind them cheering her on. Though for the past 3 months it had been nothing but Ambrose being hard on her about basketball and school.
Isabella entered the gym catching her daughter shoot a 3-point shot making the crowd go crazy. She looked at the score board and they were up by 6 and it was only 2 minutes into the 3rd quarter. "Izzy over here!" Monica shouted, waving for her to come over.
"Isabella, can I talk to you?" Coach Al said approaching her before she could make her way to the bleachers. "I know you and Ambrose maybe getting back together so he's active in the kid's life, but I am her coach not him-"
"I am happily married to Ben still; Ambrose and I are not getting back together."
"Well then he has no reasons to be at my practices or my games, Aries won't be a team player with him yelling from the sideline."
"Look Al, I just worked 48 hours straight I want to sit down and enjoy my daughter's game, you're coming at me and I ain't the one you got the issue with. Go talk to Ambrose." Isabella replied, she didn't want to be the one to tell Coach Al that Aries was Ambrose's daughter, he had done a great job keeping the media and others out of his business. She wouldn't be the reason there was a leak, if Ambrose wanted the world to know, he would tell the world himself. She just loved how much he was here, he canceled everything. No photoshoots, meet and greets, commercials, nothing he took the time out to spend time with his newfound daughter. He was teaching her how to drive, he helped her with her homework, and was tough on her about school and basketball. He had helped out a lot more when Isabella went back to work, and she seen how he was with her sons as well. He was always with Aries at their football games or dance competitions, and he would cheer just as loud for them as well. He was getting back acquainted with his high school friends, feeling like his old self again.
Ambrose put Dylan down as Coach Al approached him, "Yo y'all mama just walked in gone sit down while I talk to coach, okay?" The boy nodded doing as Ambrose asked.
"You are banned from all practices and games, you have no right to be here a-"
"Look here Al, my daughter ain't gotta play for this school. Matter of fact Christian North been eyeing her and blowing Bell's phone up about a full scholarship for the rest of her high school years, and we both know if she leaves the team y'all ain't gone win no more."
"Y-Your daughter?"
"Yeah, my daughter." Ambrose spoke stepping closer getting in his face, Al was now looking up to him and he was a little afraid. "I'll be reporting you to the principal first thing in the morning, don't ever come between me and my child." He spoke angrily before he walked away. He knew he would do something he regretted, he watched as Aries cut in to the hoop, the ball was passed to her, and she laid it in the hoop. Ambrose clapped, "Good job baby girl!" He shouted, giving his full attention back to Aries, he was here for her not the bullshit.
