19 - Plane romance with Yuji

"I'm actually excited about a skiing trip." You lifted your suitcase onto the weight machine.

Gojo nodded. "Oh absolutely. Do you know how to ski?"

You shrugged, "I'll figure it out. Can't be that bad."

Yuji snorted, "I skied once. Broke my nose."

Yuta grimaced, "Jeez man. How?"

The pink haired boy grinned as he lifted his bag onto the weight machine. "Well - Megumi thought it'd be funny if we went on a double black diamond. It in fact was not."

Megumi rolled his eyes. "You survived. Stop complaining. Nobara made it down."

The ginger haired girl laughed. "But I've skied before. I'm not a fair comparison."

You laughed and looked at your boarding pass. "Okay I'm in 28A. Window? I think?"

Gojo glanced over at your boarding pass. "Looks like it. I'm 18C."

Yuji peeked at Gojo's boarding pass with a smirk. "18C, huh? So you're closer to the front. Fancy."

Gojo grinned. "Hey, someone's gotta be in the VIP section. Or maybe I just wanted to be near the emergency exit. You never know when you'll need to make a quick getaway."

Yuta raised an eyebrow. "A quick getaway? Are you planning something we should know about?"

Gojo winked. "Just keeping things interesting. Besides, you never know when you might need to make a dramatic escape from a conversation about skiing mishaps."

"Jokes on you," Megumi chuckled. "I'm actually in the emergency exit row."

Nobara snorted. "Looks like we're all set for a dramatic exit if things go south. Or if Gojo starts another one of his impromptu dance parties in the aisle."

Gojo's eyes sparkled mischievously. "I did it once before. I'd happily do it again."

"What row are you in Nobara?" You folded your boarding pass into your passport and placed it in your backpack. "I hate sitting beside myself on the plane."

"I'm literally in row thirty." She pouted, "Right beside the bathroom."

A mouth popped up on Yuji's cheek. Sukuna. "We're actually 28B."

You blinked at Yuji, unsure if you heard him correctly. "Wait, what?"

Yuji shrugged nonchalantly, though Sukuna's smirk made his intentions clear. "Yeah, seems like we're seatmates. Plane soulmates if you would."

Gojo clapped Yuji on the back. "Looks like you're in for a treat. But if you want I can take your seat-"

The pink haired boy elbowed Gojo in the ribs. "Absolutely not."

Yuta threw his arm around you. "You want me to switch with Yuji? He snores."

You laughed. "It's all good. I'm not bothered by that."

Unbeknownst to you, everyone (except for Yuji and Sukuna) deflated after your words. Man - Yuji really lucked out.

The arm around your shoulder was quickly replaced by Yuji's. The boy began walking with you down the hallway towards security. Only when you were distracted did he turn his head around and stick his tongue out at the others.
