15 - Periods with Sukuna

How you loathed your time of the month. Everything was painful. The constant nausea was difficult. The excruciating cramps threatened to make you pass out.

And to make matters worse . . .

You'd run out of chocolate. Which was an absolute calamity. Because what exactly were you supposed to do while watching JJK (Jungle Justice Knights).

And then, your very own knight in shining armor - Yuji phoned. And he just so happened to be heading to the store! So you immediately placed your order with him, profusely thanking him.

"Don't worry about it. I'll pick up as much as I can carry. Anything else you need?"

You thought for a moment, the haze of discomfort making it hard to concentrate. "Just . . . a hot water bottle if they have one," you managed to reply. "And maybe some herbal tea. I'm really not feeling great."

"Got it," Yuji assured you. "I'll be there as soon as I can. Hang in there."

"I don't know Yuji. I think I may perish soon. What are you going to do about it?"

While Yuji knew you were absolutely joking with that last sentence (or at least . . . he hoped you were) he rushed to the store.

He navigated the aisles with the efficiency of someone on a mission, grabbing every type of chocolate he could find and a few he wasn't even sure you'd like but figured it was better to be over-prepared. The hot water bottle was surprisingly easy to find, nestled among the other home remedies, and he snagged a box of herbal tea to complete the haul.

"You should get her actual products too."

Sukuna's voice popped up in Yuji's head, startling the poor guy. He jumped and a couple chocolates fell out of his arms. Damn Sukuna.

Yuji quickly scrambled to pick up the fallen chocolates, his face flushed with the sudden jolt of Sukuna's voice. "Not now, Sukuna," he muttered under his breath, looking around to make sure no one had seen his clumsy moment. He could almost hear Sukuna's smirk.

"She might need those, too," Sukuna's voice was unhelpful and insistent. "You know how these things go."

Yuji frowned. "Not really. But fine. What else am I supposed to get?"

Sukuna's voice was annoyingly calm. "You're the one who should know. Menstruation sounds terrible . . . Like a freaking monthly sacrifice. Don't you think it would be nice to get something that could actually help?"

" . . . You didn't answer my question."

"Get her meds. Nobara mentioned them before. And get her some sort of teddy bear. Do I really have to do all the thinking for both of us? Or do you think you can handle it from here?"

He took Sukuna's advice (ignoring the insults) and headed to the pharmacy section. He grabbed a pack of pain relievers, remembering to check for ones that were suitable for cramps. As he turned the corner to the toy aisle, he spotted a shelf full of stuffed animals and grabbed a soft, fluffy teddy bear that seemed like it would offer some sort of comfort.

"Get her fluffy socks too. You can't go wrong with those. And another blanket. While you're at it, grab her some flowers."

"You're annoyingly good at this."

"Shut up and get something to carry all this. You're going to drop it all and make us look like an idiot."
