Gojo was going to knock Nobara out.
"What do you mean you only booked six rooms! We needed seven!"
The clerk behind the desk cocked his head. "I'm sorry sir. The hotel's fully booked. There's a chance that we messed up." The man smoothed a hand over his face. "Uhh. We can offer a refund."
But Gojo knew this hadn't been a mistake. They all knew it.
Nobara had booked the rooms. And it was becoming obvious what she was doing.
"Nah," the white haired man smiled. "Don't sweat it. We'll work something out."
Nobara grinned, "It's okay. (Y/n) and I can bunk - seeing as we're the only girls." As if to seal the deal, she looked at the clerk. "I mean, that makes sense right."
The poor employee stuttered out a response. "Oh um. Yes. Yes sure. Would you . . . uh . . . I think we'd be able to move a bed or something in there."
The ginger haired girl (much to the annoyance of her friends) merely waved her hand. "No need."
Gojo's eyes narrowed as he glanced between Nobara and the clerk, a mix of exasperation and amusement on his face. It was becoming increasingly clear that Nobara had orchestrated this little mix-up. He could practically see the gears turning in her head.
"I see," Gojo said with a smirk. "Well, as long as everyone's comfortable." He turned to the clerk. "We appreciate your help."
Nobara's grin widened, clearly pleased with herself. "I knew you'd understand, Gojo. Sometimes you just have to improvise."
Yuta, who had been standing nearby, tried to stop himself from grinding his teeth. "Damn. Smart move Nobara. Smart move."
Gojo shook his head, still smirking. "Alright, let's just make sure everyone's settled. No need to cause a scene." He glanced at Nobara. "But if you get bored of your roommate, feel free to let me know. I'll happily take her off your hands."
Nobara shot him a playful glare. "Oh, I'm sure we'll manage just fine."
And then the lobby doors swung open. Two extremely familiar faces walked in.
You and Yuji.
The group turned to face Yuji and Sukuna, who had just walked over from the lounge, their faces an interesting mix of amusement and apprehension. Yuji's cheeks were slightly flushed, likely from the warmth of the hot chocolate or perhaps something more.
"Actually, I think Sukuna and Yuji managed just fine," Gojo said. The man grit his teeth. Was everyone but him going to get cuddles? Like what the hell?
Yuji's eyes widened as he realized what Gojo was hinting at. "Uh, yeah, we were just... settling in," he stammered, trying to avoid Gojo's probing gaze.
Sukuna's voice, laced with dark amusement, echoed in Yuji's head. "Looks like someone's having fun with their little game. Gojo's not going to let this slide."
Gojo leaned in closer, his plastered grin never faltering. "You know, it's funny. I almost forgot how well you two manage when you're alone. How was the cozy little spot in the lounge? Comfortable?"
Yuji shifted uncomfortably but managed a casual shrug. "It was nice. We had hot chocolate and played some games."
Megumi glared at his friend.
No way. No way. You were going to be his. No matter what. You were going to be-
"Okay guys!" You grinned (completely unaware of the glaring match happening), "We all checked in?"
