"How was the flight?" Megumi gave you a smile and ruffled your hair. "I walked by a couple times but it looked like you and Yuji were out cold."
You laughed sheepishly, "Yeah. We kind of knocked out. It was really good though. The lady who was sitting with us was such a sweetheart." You pointed towards the bathrooms in front of you. "How long do you think the other's are gonna be?"
Megumi rolled his eyes. "Gojo and Yuji take forever. They act like they've gotta do a whole makeup routine."
You snorted. "That explains a lot."
"What about Nobara?"
"I think she's talking to someone in there." You giggled, "This girl was asking her for makeup tips."
Megumi groaned. "Shit. So what you're trying to tell me is we're going to be here for a while.
"Pretty much."
Megumi let out a resigned sigh and leaned against the wall. "Well, while we're waiting, do you wanna explore the airport? I'm sure they've got some stores around here."
You brightened at the suggestion. "That sounds like a good idea. I feel like a creep just standing here."
"Oh thank god. I thought I was the only one."
You and Megumi headed toward the terminal, taking in the bustling atmosphere. The airport was busy, with travelers hurrying to their gates and shops lining the concourses.
As you walked, you passed by various stores - some selling souvenirs, others with gourmet snacks and travel accessories. You stopped in front of a store with a collection of local crafts and trinkets.
"This place looks interesting," you said, peering inside. "Let's check it out."
Megumi followed you into the store. It was filled with unique items, from handmade jewelry to colorful local art. You picked up a small handcrafted charm and examined it closely.
"That's pretty," Megumi remarked. "Thinking of getting something?"
You smiled. "Maybe. I like to pick up little souvenirs when I travel. It's a nice way to remember the trip."
He grinned before prying the trinket out of your hand. "Okay great. Give me two seconds."
You quickly shook your head. "Wait shit Megumi no! You seriously don't have to pay for anything.
Megumi just gave you a smug look and walked up to the counter with the charm. "It's my treat. Besides, you've been treating me to enough meals and snacks lately."
You started to protest, but he just held up a hand to stop you. "I insist. I've got it covered."
You couldn't fight him on it. He was already speed walking towards the counter.
You could feel something warm in your face. Megumi was always so so sweet.
"Hey? You here alone?"
Someone tapped your shoulder and you turned around. In front of you was a man with a group of friends. You had no idea who they were.
You looked around. "Uhhh. No."
The man blinked before a smirk broke out across his face. "Well pretty, why don't you come with us anyways?"
You raised an eyebrow, feeling a bit thrown off by the man's approach. "Uh, I appreciate the offer, but I'm actually waiting for my friends."
The man seemed unfazed by your response. "Oh come on. Wouldn't you rather be with me?"
