(A/n: this chapter is going to include Eli's point of view, including the new characters point of view. Thank you everyone for being super patient! It's been a crazy time. Sorry this chapter is short, the episode didn't have that much going on I'm just making stuff up atp for my plot.)
I would say I don't think I've cried this much in my life, but that would be a lie.
For us to separate this way, is shit and I didn't want it, but it has to be done. Hopefully we'll both end up happier, and maybe I can get my head screwed on straight.
This was the best thing to do!Right...?
Eli's P.o.v
I can't believe it.
This can't be real right now. The one girl I love the most has broken up with me, and now I don't know what to do with myself. Trainings not the same, schools not the same, and hanging out with our friends is not the same. Everything's changed, and I hate it.
But I guess if she's happier this way, then it's what's best.Right?
"Eli are you listening?" Demetri was walking right next to me, books in hand as we made our way to the rest of the group. Today was the student fair. Where we'd all be deciding the next steps towards our futures.
Truth is I wasn't listening to a word he was saying. My mind was on Missy.
Every time I thought about her ever since yesterday, my heart collapsed. I especially had to fight back the tears that continuously threatened to fall.
We had so much going for us...
And suddenly she didn't see it that way anymore?
It didn't make any sense. There has to be more to the story that I'm not seeing.
Ever since karate's started back up again, she's been on edge. I mean she's always been on edge, but this was different. It's like she was a completely different person. Honestly- I almost didn't recognize her anymore."Eli? Hello?"
"Sorry man... I guess I'm a little distracted."
"I get Missy broke up with you but Eli you gotta move forward...! Don't fall back into your Hawk era. Nobody wants that."
I scoffed "don't worry that's not going to happen. Besides that would ruin my plan..."
"Wait what plan?"
"Hey guys!" Suddenly Sam and Miguel appeared, brochures in hand a smiles on their faces.
"Hey!" Demetri exclaimed "all of our trials and tribulations of nerdom have finally come to this! We're the bells of the ball."
Somehow, I managed to laugh a little. I hadn't been able to do that all night or day.
"Is that what we are?"
