From now on, everyday at school, we're met with body checks and metal detectors. Ever since the board meeting, and a couple of angry parents... we're under heavy lock and key. As now, we are being watched all the time. From all angles and areas of the school.
Like I do every other day, I dropped my bag into the bucket. Emptying out my keys, phone, and took off any jewelry I was wearing. So the detectors and constables didn't think I was carrying a weapon.
This time. While I was taking my stuff out, I was behind Tory in line. Silently waiting for my turn to be checked, as people stared at her and whispered all sorts of things about the fight from last year.
"Here you are."
"Thank you."
I didn't realize they were letting her back into school, I guess Sam and her mom came down to some sort of agreement. Or arrangement, because no way in hell would they have just let her re-enrol after what happened.
Seeing everyone staring, I kind of felt bad for her. I remembered what it was like to be treated like that, and it felt awful.
"I heard you let me back in Larusso."
After I was checked and good to go, I slowly walked up behind Tory. Listening in to what she was saying to Sam, who was deep down enraged and disgusted with Tory being in her presence.
"So I guess I should-"
"I don't know what kind of game you're playing, but I'm not scared of you. You're not in control here. I am. My parents might fall for your bullshit."
Well that was kind of rude.
"But if you so much as look at me funny, I will kick your ass for a third time."
I rolled my eyes behind the two girls, and walked up to them.
"Ladies come on. Let's not do this here yeah?" I say, motioning my head for them to look at all the kids that were now staring at them. Mostly Tory.
While Tory stood clenching her jaw from the inside, Sam practically spat in her face.
