"Isn't this nice?"

"No."

That night I had my very first epiphany within myself, a really big one. One that affects all of us in life. One that really comes down to now in this very situation.

I realized that I wasn't going about things the right way, and neither were my friends who fought all the time.

"YOU KNEW ALL ALONG THAT SILVER CHEATED AT THE ALL VALLEY AND YOU DID NOTHING?!" Sam was about to get into it with Tory. Furious over the fact that she was also supposed to win that same day, at the All Valley tournament.

Knowing that she was going to corner Tory into the dumpster, I pushed Sam away before she could take it any further. She's not about to beat my family up for this. No way.

Same didn't even want to hear anything that came out of Tory's mouth, so she wasn't even going to give her a chance to explain. An explanation I wanted as bad as everyone else.

"CALM DOWN! GIVE HER A CHANCE TO EXPLAIN!" I shouted at Sam, causing her to flinch in place. She looked at me wide eyed, and taken aback by my sudden actions. As Tory was just as surprised that I was the one who came to her defence.

"NO SHE KNEW THIS WHOLE TIME! AND NOW SHE WANTS TO COME FORWARD?! YEAH RIGHT! SOUNDS LIKE BULLSHIT TO ME." Sam turned her head to glare daggers into Tory's eyes. "WHAT ARE YOU PLANNING..." she growled.

Tory shook her head, innocent and a little bit skittish. It couldn't have been easy for her to come all the way down here and fess up, knowing that she wouldn't be accepted by anyone else except for me.

That took a lot of guts.

With what she knows, and I'm proud of her for it.

After all this time, she's chosen to do the right thing. Instead of what was convenient, or a simple attack on Sam for fun.

"N-nothing I swear! I just came to tell you what I know! That's all!" Tory pleaded, eyeing her surroundings. Most of Miyag-Do and Eagle-Fang were outside, watching this argument go down.

And they all gave her the same look.

She wasn't accepted, and no one believed her.

I was literally the only one.

Tory has no more reasons to go against us. She's run out of time, and cares more about saving her relationships rather than to tear apart all she's got left. Which isn't that much. Why lie would be in it for her? None.

Everything about this goes against her, and falls back on the people she cared about. I know that better than anyone.

Being alone, is the worst feeling in the world unless it's wanted. That was the last throng either of us wanted, it wasn't what Tory was hoping for. Just like me, Sam, Miguel, Eli, and even Robby, she needed people to be in her corner or it was all worth nothing.
