(A/n: moments before destruction...)
"You took something from me... and now I'm gonna take something from you."
"What did I even take from you!"

"Hawk where are we going." It was more of a accusation then a question. He had been so cryptic ever since we left the school, and all day he's barely given me any details about what we were doing and where we were going.
Earlier he took me out for lunch, and to my surprise it went off without any interruptions or karate fights. We made it through the afternoon with smalls plastered on our faces, and brand new jokes.
Later on he took me and my car to a local Valley Carnival, similar to Valley fest. Only it was a local festival that passed through the Valley's every three weekends.
I never really went... because I never had anyone to go with, and you know how Demetri and Hawk are. They used to be allergic to fun places like this. In fear of judgement and feeling out of place.
It was late, Hawk pulled me out of the car and lead me through the rubble dirt road parking lot. That was packed with families looking for a fun night out with their kids.
"Is this where you take me to get murdered?"
"Ha. Ha. You're so funny." Hawk shook his head at me, as I smiled mischievously.
"I know, thank you!"
"I hate you sometimes."
"No you don't."
"True..."
Hawk stopped us as we stood in front of the entry way, and he pulled out some tickets. How he even managed to get his hands on these I didn't know, and I don't think I wanted to know... I just wanted to enjoy my evening without anyone getting hurt.
"Two please!"
"Here you are!" The pimply, nerdy, looking teenager hands us wrists bands and begins wrapping them around our wrists. Leaving sweaty traces.
Working in a place this packed, I would be stressed out too.
"Have a good night!" He tells us with a friendly smile, allowing us inside the festival.
"Thank you." I tell the kid and we begin heading inside.
Hawk continues to hold onto my hand, as we hand side by side, hand in hand to get to whether it was we were going.
"So what are we doing here? You hate places like this."
"Yeah well, you don't." He says and tugs on my hand, picking up his pace a bit. Pulling me towards a half empty pathway to walk through.
