(A/n: I think I've dragged them on long enough don't you? Buckle in, and prepare yourself. As this is my longest chapter. Literally, I recommend taking a walk. At some point.)
•••"WELCOME TO THE FIFTY FIRST ANUAL ALL VALLEY UNDER EIGHTEEN KARATE TOURNAMENT!"
Today was suppose to be the day Eagle Fang and Miyagi-Do reign free of Cobra Kai. Where we would win, and take back our dojos and the Valley. No longer running under fear of Terry Silver and John Kreese.
It was a big event for all of us here, now, and for the future. My friends were divided in their dojo's and conquering the tournament on their own terms.
The all Valley started with skills, Kata, weapon wheeling, and board breaking where the main skills you wanted to crush, to gain the most points for your dojo. Fail, and your dojo loses, even if you become All Valley Champion.
Cobra Kai was of course the dojo to start off the skills competition. As they showed a variety of moves that included balancing and attacking, as well as weapons handling with katanas.
Once Tory was finished her skills, they moved on to our dojo. Which ultimately failed majority of the competition. At some points it felt like I was carrying the whole thing. With my team not understanding how to balance themselves well.
We would certainly have to focus on the actual karate.
Unfortunately, Miyagi-Do would've been a good competitor of Eli hadn't missed his board by a sliver. He's foot connected with the board, but it didn't break. Fuelling their loss.
I felt for him. I knew he was beating himself up over losing that round. I just hope he wasn't being too hard on himself, Hawk was strong and one of the best. All he needed to do was realize that.
