Vee stood in the elevator, humming a soft tune, she wasn't alone but she didn't have the energy to talk to anyone right now. She looked around the elevator, Finn, Cosmo, Teagan, and Shelly were in the elevator. Vee smiled at this, calm elevator today.

The elevator doors opened and Vee sighed, unfortunately having peace and quiet couldn't last forever. She quickly got to work, quickly finishing the machine. Everyone else worked fast, it was Currently the last machine and Vee wanted to finish it, just where is it though?

As Vee continued her search she saw Shelly cheering on Flutter as she passed. It made Vee's metal heart twinge for whatever reason. She shook her head and walked towards the elevator, Finn and Flutter were already there. Finn, noticing Vee, waved with a bright smile. Vee only rolled her eyes and looked away.

The elevator doors opened and they all scrambled inside, not wanting to stand out there any longer. Teagan and Cosmo arrived, but where was Shelly? Vee felt herself getting nervous, which was weird, Vee was never nervous. She watched the timer with a nervous eye, slowly finding herself sinking into the wall of the elevator.

Shelly scrambled in, clearly hurt. Vee fought the urge to go hug her, she watched as Cosmo sighed and told her something, probably planning to use his ability.

Vee sighed and watched as Dandy's shop came up, she went over and bought a bandaid, at least the shop wasn't horrible at the moment.

The shop went down and the elevator doors went up. Vee mentally groaned and walked out, hearing everyone else do the same.

She looked around before seeing twisted Glisten, looks like someone will have to keep him at bay, she looked for anyone before seeing Finn waddling around with no thoughts in his head. She called his name, thankfully he heard her and began running over.

As soon as he reached her, she threw him around the corner towards Glisten. Glisten gasped and began hugging and pestering Finn, rambling about not wanting to be alone.

She rubbed her hands, proud of her work and began looking for a machine to do. After what felt like hours, she finally found one and began doing it. She felt herself get a boost of confidence and saw Shelly cheering her on, it made her screen glitch and she looked away, flustered.

The elevator doors opened and now it was time to run, surprisingly she was the first one there, everyone else ( besides Finn? ) made it in the elevator.  "WAIT WHERE'S FINN?" Shelly screamed out, making Vee jump a bit. They all looked ahead and saw Finn being chased by Glisten, unfortunately Glisten grabbed him before he could enter the elevator and just on cue, it closed.

Everyone stood there in shock, it was 'normal' for toons to be killed by twisteds but he was right there, so close. Vee shook her head and turned towards Shelly, who was sitting on the floor.

She sighed and sat next to her, pulling her into a soft side hug. She felt Shelly melt into it and smile. "Hey, are you free after this..?" Vee was hesitant with asking this, not wanting to make Shelly uncomfortable.

Shelly looked at her and smiled, but she looked hurt over something else now. "Yeah, I am, I'll help you move boxes."

Vee was shocked, that's not what she wanted but I guess it made sense considering that's what she said before. "N-no. That's not what I was gonna ask." Vee mentally groaned at her stutter. They both stared at eachother for a few seconds before Shelly smiled. "Sure! What'd you have planned?"

"Well.. I was wondering if you wanted to take a walk with me? I-if you want too! Just an offer of course!"

Vee felt herself get nervous for some reason, she watched as Shelly stood up. The elevator doors were opening, she reached her hand out to Vee and pulled her up.

"It's a date then?"

"Yeah, a date."
