Finn quickly wrote something down, it was almost night and he was planning for a future confession. Hell, maybe he'd confess tonight.

His hand writing was sloppy, kind of like a 5th grader but you could still read it. He smiled brightly at the letter, sure, he could've written it more neat but he was just so excited.

He decided to fold it carefully, ( it still came out messy) he smiled at it, hopefully Glisten would like it even though it definitely wasn't perfect.

It was nearly night time, he would wait for everyone to go to bed so he could visit Glisten. He wanted it to be private, just in case Glisten did reject him.

He saw Dandy out of the corner of his eye, along with Pebble, go towards the backyard. Dandy had Pebble's bed with him. Finn raised an eyebrow at it but continued to mind his own business.

Finally, night-time rolled around, he carefully creeped out of his room, he saw Astro going outside but didn't question it. He slowly made his way towards Glisten's room, it was a little farther away from everyone else's but he didn't mind the mini walk.

His nerves started to build up as he got closer, his body was urging him to run away, the fear of rejection was slowly eating away at him.

Before he knew it, he was at Glisten's door. His body couldn't stop shaking, when did he lose his confidence? Just a few minutes ago he was ready and prepared for rejection but now, he wasn't sure if he could handle it anymore.

He could hear a soft melody behind Glisten's door, sure, the song was sweet but it felt like it was mocking Finn, almost telling him he could never be with someone so.. perfect.

He was about to turn away but he stepped on a loose floor board, the noise was loud, really loud. He didn't even have the chance to run away before he heard Glisten's door open.

"Finn..?"

Finn's heart stopped, he slowly turned around to face a robe wearing Glisten. He needed to make up an excuse, he quickly hid the love letter behind his back and awkwardly smiled at Glisten.

"Ah, fish sticks! Looks like this isn't my room, heh! I-I'll just be leaving now!"

Finn turned to leave but was stopped by Glisten grabbing his arm. He slightly jumped in surprise but didn't move.

"What's that?"

Glisten pointed towards the love letter, it had a sloppy heart drawn on it and looked like a failed arts and crafts hack.

Finn quickly hid it once more and backed away from Glisten.

"I-its nothing, really! Just some er.. dumb letter! Yeah!"

Glisten stepped closer and Finn felt himself freeze, his heart was racing, part of him wanted to run but the other part wanted to run into Glisten's arms and never let go.

While Finn was distracted with his own thoughts, Glisten managed to snatch the letter away from Finn.

Finn, who was obviously shocked, tried to grab it back but unfortunately failed. Glisten held the letter above Finn's head, taunting him a tad bit.

"How about we discuss this 'pretty' little letter in my room, hm?"

Glisten spoke in his usual sassy tone, and waved the letter a bit. Finn put his arms to his side and sighed in defeat, looks like there was no getting out of this now.
