Shelly sniffled as she stared at her ripped up dinosaur book, she had gotten into an argument with Shrimpo causing him to rip it to pieces right in front of her.

It was her favorite book as well, She wiped the warm tears from her face as she heard footsteps; She quickly tried to make it look like she wasn't crying as she shoved the tip of pieces behind her.

Vee peered around the corner, Shelly wanted to die at that moment. Vee. Vee the one person who treated her like something but at the same time only treated her like dirt was the one that found her.

Why couldn't someone like Goob or Tisha find her? They surely would be kinder towards her.

She expected laughter or mockery but it never came. Vee sat down next to her, sure, she usually wouldn't care for anyone but herself, but she could tell Shelly was really hurt this time.

She noticed the ripped up pages behind Shelly and swiftly grabbed a piece; Making Shelly groan. "What.. what happened exactly? Did you do this..?" Vee's screen glitched a bit, having trouble processing why Shelly's favorite book was ripped apart.

"I-i would never! I just.. just got into a fight with Shrimpo.." Shelly desperately tried to hold back tears as she smiled at Vee.

"I'm fine though! It doesn't really affect me!" Shelly's voice began to crack – she was never the best at lying and it didn't help due to the situation she was currently in.

"He ripped up your book?" Vee scooted closer to Shelly, feeling some weird type of protectiveness over her.

Shelly weakly nodded her head and looked off to the side, big tears forming at the corners of her eyes.

Vee clenched her fists together before standing up and reaching her hand down towards Shelly. Shelly stared up at her and smiled, taking her hand with a small 'thank you'.

"C'mon. I'm pretty sure there's copies of that book in the basement." Vee leads Shelly down the hallway; Shelly not daring to say something.

"And don't worry, once I see Shitpo I'll throw him in the garbage shoot again." Vee said as her voice glitched a bit.

Shelly giggled and stared at their hands.

"Thank you, Vee."

"Don't even mention it.. Shelly."

Vee smirked and gripped on Shelly's hand a bit.
