Shelly x Tisha.

Tisha swept the floor with passion, making sure to get every spec of dust. She smiled at her work and moved on, she started wiping off the counters. She was about to move on but she saw Shelly in the corner of her eye.

"Oh hello Shelly!" Tisha smiled at her as she waved, Shelly was shocked but waved back and slowly got closer.

"Sorry I didn't mean to interrupt you, if you want, I could help you..?" Shelly suggested. She felt guilty for interrupting Tisha.

"Sure, I'd appreciate that!" Tisha grabbed another cloth and handed it to Shelly, Shelly blushed and took it. She instantly began wiping the other counters, Tisha smiled at her. Nobody really offered to help her clean so this was a nice change.

"So Tisha, I was wondering if you'd like to go somewhere after this..?" Shelly kept her tone low, clearly nervous. Tisha looked up at her again and blushed slightly, the first time she'd been (technically) asked out.

"S-sure! Where are we ..uh going?" Tisha slightly tripped on her own words, this was so awkward for the two of them.

"There's this cute cat Cafe down the street! It just opened up, I was wondering if you wanted to go there. After all cats are extremely cute, like all of their fur and the way they meow! Cats are just–"

"Sorry. I started rambling again."  Shelly looked down on the ground and felt her face get beet red. Tisha giggled, and softly smiled.

"No, it's okay. I prefer to listen to people talk." Tisha continued to sweep with that, but then realized she technically never answered her question.

"Also, I'd love to go! I myself love cats as well." Shelly smiled brightly at this, and continued to clean.

The two finally stopped cleaning and headed to the cafe, upon reaching it the door was closed.

"Aw. I didn't know it would be closed." Shelly huffed and turned around.

"Sorry for wasting your time, Tisha."

"No, you didn't waste my time. How about we find an alternative? We can go to the park near the main road. It'll be nice."

Tisha quickly came up with a solution, she wanted to spend time with Shelly. She wasn't gonna let some closed shop ruin this for her.

"Okay.. okay! That sounds good! Lead the way Tisha!" Shelly happily exclaimed, Tisha smiled and nodded. She walked down the street, Shelly following closely behind.

Okay, everything was going well.

They reached a beautiful wood bench, it has amazing carvings into it and it looked like it shouldn't be in such a dingy park.

They both sat on it, and enjoyed the beautiful view. Shelly slowly scooted closer, and smiled.

They started talking about their favorites movies, it was a nice conversation. Trying to understand each other better, it was sweet.

"And then it toppled over! Can you believe that? Oh! That reminds me of the time I was carrying a huge stack of boxes, Shrimpo was running away from Goob and ran into to me! The boxes fell on his head and–"

"Sorry, I'm rambling again." Shelly looked of to the side and scratched her arm. Tisha smiled and pulled her closer.

"Please continue."

..

"Okay."

And Shelly did just that, she continued to share interesting stories about their friends and her own personal adventures. Tisha listened with patience, holding on to her every word.

They arrived back home and Tisha walked Shelly back to her room.

"Hey uhm, Tisha."

"Yes?"

"I apologize for talking so much.." Tisha huffed and grabbed Shelly's hand, bringing her into a hug.

"Why are you apologizing? You have nothing to apologize for." Shelly started crying and held onto her.

"It's just that.. most people hate when I talk. I annoy people and I was afraid that I would scare you off too." Tisha pulled away from the hug, she grabbed Shelly's face and kissed her.

"No, I enjoy your cute little ramblings. You don't annoy me at all, if anything it draws me closer to you."

Shelly sniffled as blush rised to her face.

"I care for you"

"Really?"

..

"Of course."

Shelly smiled and kissed Tisha back, quickly pulling away.

"I'll talk to you later Tisha." Shelly nervously said as she closed her door.

Tisha stood there and smiled before muttering.

"Im here for you."
