Finn stared at his sleeping boyfriend, he smiled brightly and looked at the time; 7:30 am. Today was a big day, a day that could possibly change their lives for the best or for the worst.

It was a huge risk.

A risk Finn was honestly ready to take.

Finn kicked down their door lightly, in his hands was a platter full of delicious food with a glass of orange juice on the side. Perfectly made Sunnyside up eggs could be seen along with 4 stripes of crispy bacon in the middle of it all, to top it all of; two slices of beautifully golden brown pieces of toast and two sausages were on the other side of the platter.

Finn had spent at least an hour on it – making sure it was perfect for his amazing boyfriend. It set it beside Glisten, making sure that Glisten wouldn't knock it over by accident.

"Wake up.." Finn slightly shook Glisten, Glisten yawned and sat up; looking like a goddess per usual. Glisten rubbed his eyes and sniffed the air – it seemed to wake him up fully by his eyes shooting open; he looked off to the side and gasped at the platter.

"Did you?–" Finn smiled and nodded, "I've been learning how to cook better with Sprout, I hope you enjoy it!" Glisten carefully put the platter on his lap and smiled at his boyfriend, "Aw.. you're too sweet.." Finn blushed and gave Glisten a kiss on the cheek before heading towards the bathroom; "By the way, we're leaving in an hour!" Finn screamed down the hall.

Glisten raised an eyebrow but didn't question it; too focused on the amazing food in front of him, he picked up a piece of bacon and practically shoved it in his mouth. He smiled brightly and licked up his lips, Finn would definitely need to cook like this more.

"So.. honey. Where are we going exactly?" Glisten tightened his grip on Finn's hand as they walked down the stone filled path. They were on a beach, well not a beach but it had sand; does that make it a beach? Whatever – not too far from their house, "Well. I.. I just think we should spend more time together! We're just gonna go to a few places today and we'll head straight home!" Finn stared up at Glisten after saying this, Glisten smirked at him.

"Go home and do what?~" Glisten let go of Finn's hand and slowly trailed down his back, making him shiver. "Ack– G-Glisten!" Finn playfully pushed Glisten away; both of them giggling in the process.

"Okay, okay. Well, I'm sure this day will go well! Mind explaining why you're doing it though?" Glisten asked as he reached for Finn's hand again; firmly grabbing it with a smile.

"That's a secret!" Finn giggled making Glisten huff, hopefully today would be worth it. Well, everything was worth it if he was with Finn.

Finn started to walk towards an arcade, dragging Glisten along with him. Glisten watched as Finn headed towards the claw machines. "You know that stuff is rigged, right?" Glisten leaned onto its side and watched Finn add two quarters in. "It couldn't hurt to try though!" Finn exclaimed and smiled as it turned on.

Glisten tilted his head and smiled at his boyfriend's joy.

Although he knew it wouldn't last long because claw machines suck.

Glisten was definitely surprised. Like really surprised. Finn had managed to bag at least 6 different plushies, giving all of them to Glisten. "That.. that was impressive." Glisten stared at the bag in his hands, admiring each and every plushie.

"Glad you like them!" Finn grabbed the bag from Glisten; wanting to carry it for him.

"We have two more places and it's already getting dark, so we've gotta hurry up!" Finn worriedly said, Glisten was confused on why Finn was so nervous but didn't say anything.

Finn guided Glisten to a café, a cat café. Glisten stared at all of the bundles of fluff with joy, as much as he wanted to pet them; he didn't know if they were clean.

Finn marched forwards and ordered something; Glisten didn't really listen as he was too focused on a cat rolling on the ground like a ball.

Finn poked Glisten's arm, making him flinch a bit but he quickly composed himself. "I got your order! As much as I'd like to drink our drinks here, I'm afraid of the car hair.." Finn whispered the last part, ( for some reason ) not wanting to offend the cats.

Glisten nodded in agreement and sadly waved goodbye to the cats, they walked down the street; having a small conversation about their friends and other random stuff. Finn stared at his watch and at the sky; it was nearly sunset.

"Hey. I have one last place, remember that beach we went to with our friends?" Finn questioned as he held on to Glisten's arm.

"Oh yeah! That day Toodles somehow got a machine gun and shot everyone with paintballs." Glisten shuttered at the memory.

"Ah.. yeah! But let's not think about that right now, that's where we're gonna go!" Finn led him down the warm planks; they were already close to the beach but it was still a nice five minute walk.

"Here, let's take pictures!" Finn pushed Glisten towards the water, making him face the cold blue sea; "yup! Just like that, don't turn around until I tell you too!" Glisten laughed at Finn's weird eagerness.

"What? Are you gonna propose to me or something?" Glisten giggled but was met with silence.

"Finn?–" Glisten turned around to see Finn on one knee, a beautiful diamond ring in his hands.

Finn's face flushed, probably having a nervous wreck.

Finn was clearly shaking – Glisten just stared there as his face got warmer. He slowly approached Finn and bent down in front of him, "w-Will y-y-you m-marry m–" Glisten picked up his stuttering boyfriend; giving Him a big kiss.

"Of course I will." Glisten whispered as he kissed Finn again.

Usually, the one being proposed to would cry, but this time was different.

Finn clutched the ring in his hand, kissing Glisten back passionately.

"You're so cute when you're nervous." Glisten stated as he pulled away, bringing Finn into a hug. Finn wiped the tears from his eyes and desperately grabbed onto Glisten.

"J-jeez.. I love you." Finn's voice was muffled due to him hiding his face into Glisten's chest.

Glisten smiled and affectionately rubbed Finn's back.

"I love you too."
