Boxten X Dandy.

We've been having a lot of sad chapters so let's switch it up!

Dandy smiled as he skipped down the hall, humming a tune he had heard from Boxten. A few weeks ago he had accidentally overhead Boxten playing his music, he entered his room and now they just hang out sometimes.

Dandy couldn't deny that he was slowly growing feelings for the Box, he didn't have the confidence to actually ask him out though. After all Boxten was Smart, Kind, and overall really pretty, Dandy quickly shook his head he could feel his face heating up.

He sighed and knocked on Boxten's door, Boxten immediately pull Dandy into a hug. Dandy obviously hugged back, the two pulled away and went into Boxten's room.

"So what are we gonna do today?" Boxten asked as he sorted random records, Dandy thought about it before his face lit up.

"How about we take a stroll? Just around town?" Boxten turned around, thinking for a moment before agreeing.

"But before we leave I'd like to show you a new record I found. We can listen to it tomorrow if you'd want!" Boxten delicately tossed the record towards Dandy, still in its case.

Dandy looked at the cover with curiosity, it was a light yellow color with butterflies. Interesting..

Dandy put it off to the side and smiled, Boxten finished putting on his coat considering it was cold outside.

"Dandy, where's your coat?" Dandy looked away nervously, rubbing his arm.

"I might've.. forgotten it..?" Boxten huffed and went back in his closet, pulling out a black coat he had gotten from Poppy as a birthday gift.

"Here, this is all I have. We won't be gone anyways." Boxten put the coat on Dandy, patting his back as he headed outside. Dandy smiled and nodded.

The two wandered around, going to different locations; they didn't really have a place they were exactly going. They honestly just wanted to spend time with each other.

"Hey, there's a coffee shop ten minutes away from us! Wanna go?" Dandy bounced around Boxten as he said that, Boxten giggled and reached for Dandy's shoulders; holding him in place.

"Sure! We can split the bill–" Dandy shushed Boxten while poking his chest.

"Nah, I requested going so I'll pay!" Dandy spun around and ran towards the area of the shop, Boxten was flabbergasted before running as well.

Dandy frowned at the 'Closed' sign on the door, he looked behind him and saw Boxten finally catching up. Boxten got closer and raised an eyebrow, Dandy only pouted and pointed towards the sign.

"Oh.. well! Maybe we can find an alternative!" Boxten was surprisingly very positive about the situation, he grabbed Dandy's hand; interlocking their fingers. Dandy blushed and slightly gulped.

"So .. where are we going exactly, Boxten?"

Boxten walked, still holding Dandy's hand.

"How about we go to the park? It has a nice view and a really nice water fountain!" Dandy nodded at this idea, it didn't sound half bad and honestly Dandy didn't care as long as he got to continue to hold Boxten's hand.

They both soon arrived at the small park, it was nice and nobody was currently present! Boxten walked over to the water fountain and sat on the rim, dragging Dandy down with him.

Dandy already knew what was about to happen and laid his head on Boxten's shoulder, just on cue Boxten began to play a beautiful melody. It was Dandy's favorite..

Dandy turned to face Boxten, Boxten noticed Dandy and turned towards him as well while still playing music. They both stared at each other's lips before leaning in and entering a passionate kiss.

They both pulled away and looked at each other with heated faces, Dandy giggled and pulled Boxten into a tight hug; burying his face into his chest.

Boxten cheesily smiled and rubbed Dandy's back. He made the music louder as he hugged Dandy back, making circles on his back.

What a lovely melody.
