Dandy pat down on the soil, he looked at the sun that beamed down on him as he wiped the sweat from his forehead. "I really gotta pick better days to focus on my garden.." He stood up and clasped his hands together as he smiled.

"Okay.. I've already planted the tomatoes, I could plant the cucumbers.. oh! How about the strawberries?" He grabbed the bag of seeds and headed to the pre-planned area of soil. He hummed a tune as he buried seeds into the ground; he didn't hear Sprout coming up from behind him.

"Whatcha doing babe?" Sprout asked as he crossed his arms, he unfortunately startled Dandy; making him drop the bag of seeds. "You need to stop sneaking up on me, I almost wilted!" Dandy chuckled, standing up and taking off his gloves; putting them in his front pocket of his overalls.

"Sorry, I haven't seen you all day! I just wanted to check up on you." Sprout approached Dandy as he said this, he grabbed Dandy and swung him around. Dandy giggled as Sprout finally put him down, attacking his cheek with kisses afterwards.

"Im about to go inside, I just gotta do some things first." Dandy said as he hugged Sprout, Sprout nodded and went back into the house; Dandy smiled at this and started to put away his equipment.

He made sure everything was in place, nothing was crooked or messed up; just how he liked it. He sighed and headed inside, being greeted by Sprout handing him some pink lemonade, "You need to stop overworking yourself, Dandy. Go lay down for a bit; take a rest for once."

Dandy sighed and took a drink of the lemonade "But–" Sprout shushed him and pushed him towards their shared room; "No buts, rest." Dandy groaned as Sprout closed the door, he went towards the bed; sitting on it with a humph. He took off his shoes and socks, making sure to set them down neatly by the bed.

He placed the drink on his nightstand and got under the covers, instantly falling asleep due to all of the stress on his body. Geez, Sprout was right.

Dandy woke up at least two hours later, he rubbed his eyes and stared at the dim lights that covered the room completely. He stood up with a groan as he cracked his back "Sprout? Honey?" He walked out the door and was met by Sprout baking something, Dandy loved Sprout's baking; he slowly walked over and sat on a nearby stool "What are you making today?"

Sprout smiled at him as he put the ingredients away, "Just a pudding pie. Not anything special." Dandy giggled and walked over to him, hugging his side as Sprout blushed like an idiot. "Well, in my opinion, anything you make is special." He let go of Sprout and watched as he got flustered, Dandy lovingly smiled at him.

The two had been together for at least two years, after settling their differences they realized they actually enjoyed each other's company. They had never really talked about sex or tried to do anything like that; but Sprout was getting curious.

"Dandy.. have you ever thought about.. well I don't know.. having sex?" Sprout looked away at the last part, not being able to see Dandy's reaction.

Dandy felt his face get warm as he fiddled with his hands, "W-well.. I mean if you wanna try.. we can." Dandy muttered as he continued to helplessly mess with his fingers; trying to dissociate himself from the awkward encounter.
