"how you feeling?" Bobby stepped into his office where Aurelia was sitting doing some paperwork.
"better. i can finally move my arm around." she smiled putting another folder away.
"heard Buck spent a few nights. said you haven't been sleeping well." Bobby sat down on the empty chair in front of his desk.
since the earthquake Aurelia has been having trouble sleeping. she didn't regret going into the building, she always wanted to help people that was mainly a part why she applied to be a firefighter. it was her first big job and she still couldn't fully process it all yet.
"i'll be okay." Aurelia smiled at Bobby who nodded and the alarm rang throughout the firehouse.
"let's go."

"excuse me, clear a path. coming through, thank you, thank you." Buck announces walking through the bar all the way to the back to see a woman with her head inside a trucks tailpipe.
"what's her name?" Aurelia asked slipping her gloves on.
"Betty." the man next to her quickly answered.
"Jennifer." the woman on the ground answered.
"sorry, i thought you meant my truck." the man looked at Aurelia smiling, "what's your name?"
Aurelia smiled, "i have a boyfriend," the man's smile faded, Buck who was watching stared at the guy then at Aurelia who caught his gaze, she slowly nodded at Buck who tried to hide his grin to go along with it making the man quickly catch on looking at the truck in front of him, "this is your truck?"
"yeah, but it's not like i backed into her. she did this out of her own free will."
"you dared her to." the woman in a pink blouse answered.
"we were flirting."
"terrible flirting then." Aurelia walked around kneeling down to look under the truck.
"your idea of flirting with a girl is daring her to stick her head in your tailpipe?" Eddie furrowed his brows.
"oh, man." Buck chuckled sliding under the truck, "so boyfriend?" his eyes moved to Aurelia.
"you really think he was my type? i had to improvise and you just happened to be there." she smiled at him, Buck couldn't help but smile at her smile.
