Aurelia started looking forward to therapy since she started going a few weeks ago. her nightmare's slowly started to go away although at times she still wasn't able to sleep. scared to have the terrifying dream just like the first few nights after the earthquake on her first day on the job she also had some trouble sleeping. the one reason why her nightmare's hadn't affected her before the whole lawsuit situation is because she was always with Buck.
when the earthquake first happened he stayed with her for a week and when he left that's when they started. along with the tsunami, the first few days she barely slept and then when she spent a few nights with Buck?
nothing. it was like him being there with her, somehow got rid of the nightmares.
she rarely talked about Buck in her sessions but the therapist knew there was something about him that made Aurelia not get nightmares.
"how are the nightmares?" Frank asks Aurelia who was sitting on the couch, her legs criss crossed playing with the ring Buck had gotten her for Christmas the year before.
"i think they've gotten better. last one was a week ago but i still haven't been able to sleep much." she answered looking at the man.
"have you tried the journaling and meditations?"
Aurelia nodded, "i couldn't sleep the other night so i wrote at least four pages. took me a while but i slept."
Frank set his notebook down, "and what about everything that's been going on? still no word with Buck?"
Aurelia shook her head, "he comes back the day after tomorrow to work. i haven't really spoken to him."
"how are you feeling about him coming back? i know the last few weeks have been pretty hard." Frank says, Aurelia slowly nodded looking at her hands.
"i'm glad he's coming back. it sucked what happened and the entire time i was mad at him all i wanted was to be with him again but i keep thinking about him telling his lawyer about my birth parents and how bad it hurt." even after everything that had happened, Aurelia still wanted to be with Buck again.
"i think it's time you speak with him, Aurelia." Frank tells her, Aurelia leaned back on the sofa looking at her hands again.

after therapy had ended, Aurelia got to work early where the 118 immediately got called to a harvest festival. Aurelia jumped out of the truck with Eddie following Bobby to the school bus where the teacher and her students were.
