the last six months things were going well for Aurelia and the rest of the 118. on her days off she'd go with Buck to any doctor appointments he had along with his physical therapy. she even kept him company when he was supposed to rest and spent hours home alone. Aure almost everyday after her shift at work she joined him at his apartment. in that time Buck had been telling Aurelia for weeks about his recertification test and had been begging her to go with him.
so Aurelia had taken a week off at work to help Buck with whatever he needed. hoping she'd be able to sleep in at least a bit the current morning but was awaken by her bed shaking making her jump up chucking a pillow. Buck fell onto her bed making him jump back up pointing at her.
"that was not nice."
"why would you shake my bed?" Aurelia rubbed her face looking out the window then back at up, "what time is it?"
"uh- not five thirty in the morning. in my defense, you shouldn't have given me the spare key." Buck smiled, Aurelia pushed her hair away from her face.
"i'm only gonna get dressed because i promised to drive you and wait until you finished." Aurelia threw the covers off going to her closet.
Buck stood up catching up to her placing his hands on her waist turning her around. around two months ago, Buck and Aurelia may have gotten a bit more closer than they were before. with all the time she had spent in his apartment when she wasn't working, things seemed to be getting serious.
according to Eddie, Knight and Sofia.
"i have to get dressed." she looked up at him, her heart started racing at how close they were.
"i just wanna thank you. for everything, Aure. seriously. you helped me through all this these last six months, i couldn't have done it without you." a smile appeared on her face as she gently pat his chest.
"that's how we work. you help me, i help you. if it weren't for you i would've never gone to Spain." she says.
Buck smiled hugging her tightly, her arms moved around his neck as he lifted her from the ground moving her side to side making her laugh.
"okay, get out. let me get dressed so we can go." Aurelia pulled away from him as he set her down leaving the room.
Aurelia took a deep breath watching him leave, she thought with the months that had passed her feelings for him would leave but they only got stronger. Knight had been trying to help her through it, since their breakup the two remained good friends and they all grew a bond together.
