Chapter 75
Monday March 13th
Harry's POV

This Monday morning was a little different than our usual. Lennon got up bright and early to head off to work and save some lives, but we didn't wake the kids up and have to send them off to school at the crack of dawn. I was still awoken at 5:30 because Lennon's alarm has become our alarm since I'm spending all my nights here. I decided to make use of the time and go for an early morning walk while she got ready so I stayed out of her way.

The twins and Lennon were both feeling better after the weekend, they just had a little bug and luckily Theo and I managed to avoid it. I was happy that they were all healthy shortly after, because both Theo and I were upset to be away from them.

The twins ended up waking up on their own a while after Lennon left, so I got to enjoy some time with them. The moment they got up, Delia was ready to go wild and play with all her toys, but Atticus just wanted to sit on my lap and cuddle with me. It's been so fun for me to see their personalities develop over time, and they sure are different.

I let Theo sleep in for as long as I could, but in the end I had to wake him up or we'd be late. I had to be at the airport at 10, we were an hour away from it without traffic, and I had to get all 3 kids out the door all on my own. At least the solo time I had with the twins allowed me to change them into an outfit for the day and give them their morning milk.

"Teddy it's time to wake up" I rubbed circles on his back. I was trying to be gentle, but Delia decided it would be more effective to hit her older brother in the face.

I mean it worked, but it wasn't really what I was going for.

"Ow Lia" Theo groaned. "Gentle hands"

"Dada" Lia babbled in response, it being the only word she knew how to say.

"We have to get ready to go for your surprise" I pulled the blanket off of him. He knew that we were going to be seeing my mom very soon, but Lennon and I never told him when it would be time for her visit. It's today, and that's why we need to rush out the door to go pick her up from the airport.

I couldn't wait to see my mom. It's been such a long time that I've gotten to see her in real life and not just over our phones. It's been even longer since she got to see Theo, and I know she's thrilled to see how much he's grown and what an amazing kid he's turned into. She'll also get to meet Lia and Atti and I know she'll love them.

"Surprise?" Theo perked up.

"Yep. But you have to get out of bed" I chuckled.

"Fine" He sat up and tiredly rubbed his eyes with the palms of his hands. He outstretched his arms towards me, because of course why should he walk to the living room when he has me? I got him so he was piggy backing me, since I still had to carry the twins on my sides. I was a mobile human jungle gym, but I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

I made us all some pancakes and they all cleared their plates. I then got Theo to change into clothes for the day, brush his teeth, and fix his hair. I even had time to pull Delia's growing hair into a little sprout on the top of her head.

All four of us were dressed, ready to go, and out the door right when we needed to be. I don't want to jinx myself, but I'm killing this dad thing so far.

Lennon took my car to work this morning, so we didn't have to waste time switching the car seats. I don't know why I haven't thought of it sooner, but I made a mental note to buy car seats for my car so we can avoid potential problems in the future.

A movie played through the speakers for them to watch on the somewhat long drive. It was early, but if we can avoid Delia's screaming fits in the car, then we're going to.
