Internships: Dusk

Nezu was no stranger to... unusual and unfortunate circumstances. He was created in those conditions, after all, but this... this was different.

Never had he, in his time at UA, felt any sort of animosity towards his own students. Each one was a beacon of potential, and had shown their worth, be it through guidance, or, in Aizawa's case, trial by fire. This time, though, instead of the usual curtailing of unwanted behaviour... the class in question had taken it as a challenge to overcome.

Life isn't supposed to be fair. That was Aizawa's lesson. Instead of accepting that, they resolved to... change the circumstances. That worked here because the ragged hero hadn't ever learned the value of tact, even in private meetings, but still... that won't always be the case. However, that would have to be addressed at the midterm exams.

For now, though, this meeting had a different subject. About the internships as a whole. Turning to Snipe, in charge of class 3A, he asked, "How are they going with their work studies?"

"Smoothly. No problems on my end."

"Excellent..." One by one, he went down the line, asking about the different student excursions. Internships, both general, business, support, and hero courses... until it was Class 1A's turn. Turning to Awata and Blackthorne, he asked, "Class A...?"

"Each of their internships have gone through without a hitch. Each of their mentors say highly positive things. Even Miruko." The blue skinned teacher smiled as she gave the report. "Although..."

"Yes?"

"There is the threat of the hero killer in Hosu. Should we have interns working there... move? He's killed Phantasmo. Given his pattern..."

Nezu rubbed his chin, "Has he ever gone for interns in the past?"

Looking at him as if he grew a third head, Awata started with hesitation in her voice, "Well... no... but..."

"Then there is little to worry about. He seems to be going after those who are corrupt. None of our students fit the bill."

Still, Bubble Girl was unsatisfied with that answer. Considering the potential danger her students were in? That made complete sense to the rest of the human staff in the room. "What about those who are working under heroes who may not fit a serial killer's vision? What do you think he'll do then?"

Nezu's lack of a response did not reassure the other staff, especially Awata long after the fact. However, she was forced to shelve that thought as she went back to where Mina Ashido and Supiritto Kurōnmenī were training. For now, she just had to hope all of her class would return home in one piece.

Reiko and Tokoyami followed Hawks as he boarded the train. Of course, due to the normally airborne number three hero using public transport, he was swarmed with fans. It was nothing out of the ordinary for the man, in fact, while he didn't mind giving them his attention, when on the clock, he preferred to fly so he wouldn't be distracted.

Still, Emily was wary of their current warden. He seems... shifty.

Spooked?

Not in a good way.

Hm... I shall keep an open mind, but I appreciate your warning, sister.

Even though Emily never had a face, she smiled, or gave the impression of such. Arriving at their destination, they stepped off the train to see... Hosu. Looking up at him, she asked, "Mentor... why have we arrived at this place? It reeks of the Hero Killer's work."
