"Landon"---  "Landon!"

 I opened my eyes as I made eye contact with my mom. "What the fuck?!" 

She hovered over me as I tried to wake up. "Sorry! Caught me off guard," I quickly said as I pulled my blanket up. "Get up! Your nap was suppose to be an hour it's 7 now!"

I reached for my phone as I looked at the time. 7:43 pm.

"Uhh I was really tired?"

 "Well your dad and I are going to go out for a while, but while we're gone can you please try to get your sister up?" "W-Why? I thought she went out with Violet?" 

"She was suppose too, but she bailed on her, now I'm leaving and when I come back you guys both better be up!" "Okay." She closed the door as I laid back scrolling on my phone. 

30 minutes later..........

I could feel my phone overheating as I placed it back down, taking it as a cue to finally get up. I walked down the stairs opening the fridge for a snack. I could hear Vera's tv, playing some random show. 

I walked towards her room as I cracked the door open. Lights were off as she covered herself with her blanket. "Vera?" I heard her sniffle as I walked in.

"Why didn't you go out with Violet today?" I sat next to her as she faced away from me. "Vera," I shook her as she continued facing away from me. I moved the blanket away from her face. Tears were rolling down her face as she hugged herself. "H-Hey--Hey what's wrong?"

 "Nothing." 

"Come on what's going on?" She turned around as she wiped her face,"I-I--"

"Is this about Jacob?" She sat up as she turned off the tv. "Kinda--I-I don't know."

 As I looked at her I knew there was only one thing I could do.

 "Look I'm going to go out for-awhile and when I'm back you'll feel better." "Ok?" 

She slightly chuckled still confused with me. "Trust me."

 "Alright Im gonna call this person back have fun doing whatever your gonna do," she smiled as she got up.

Jacob Black

"I'll have it ready by next week." 

"Thank you so much, once again sorry for the late drop off."

 "O-Oh no its fine, most customers come during the afternoon!" 

The door bells rang as someone walked in. "Oh look someones here too! Thanks you so much!" "Of course Bill," I said back as he placed his information on the counter. 

I turned his bike around as I began saying, "What can I help you with?"

 "Actually I was wondering if you could close early?"
