Jacob and I continued talking, hours passed not feeling them go by. He was very sweet and really funny as we kind of talked about everything. I guess you can say he's my first friend I've made here in Forks so far.

I mean I couldn't deny he was cute but we just met. He's tall well really tall in my eyes.
I love how he genuinely seems to care about what I have to say unlike other guys.

"Got any other siblings?"

"Nope just me and my brother,"I replied as he looked like he was thinking. I played with my necklace as I asked, "You?" "Yeah I have a sister." I looked surprised as he smiled.

"Can I ask kind of a weird question?" I said. "Well considering you are kind of blackmailing me...sure." I laughed as he was sarcastic.
"Why are all of you kinda buff?"

Jacob began chuckling to himself as I felt my face go red. I really am curious. Are they on like steroids or something??!!!

"Sorry it's just I didn't expect that..." I nodded as I tried to hide my face. "I mean we all like going out a lot also mainly genetics but if we want to get technical I'm the strongest,"he said winking. I laughed as I heard a voice from behind me.

"If I didn't know any better Jake I'd say you're flirting with our guest." I turned around seeing Quil stare intensely at him. My heart felt heavy as he teased him.

God I've forgotten that feeling.

The last time I had anything romantic was 3 years ago. It was complicated. After everything I ended up getting hurt way worse.
He said and I quote,  "No one will actually love you."

After he said this I didn't come out of my room for weeks.

I heard the door open as Sam came out. I came out of my thoughts as I looked towards Sam's direction.
"Hey Elle your mom called and said she wants you home."

"Alrighty." "Jake can you take her,"Sam said more of a demand than a favor. "O-Oh no it's fine." "It's okay it's not too far."he said smiling back at me. I huffed as I went inside to quickly get my jacket. I said my goodbyes to Emily and Ella as I began walking towards the door. Before I opened it I heard some shouts coming from outside.

Looking up I realized they were only play fighting. I closed the door behind me walking towards the guys. "Bye guys thanks for having me." "Of course any time Vera." I smiled at Embry as he stared at me. I waved bye to Quil as Jacob and I began walking.

I felt the tiredness hit my body. "You okay?" "Y-Yeah Im just sleepy thats all." I smiled back reassuring him. As we walked I felt my sweater slip from my grasp. Kneeling down to pick it up Jacob's hand grazed mine as we both picked it up. "Jesus your cold Elle."

"O-Oh no my hands are always cold." "You should put your sweater." "It's okay really." I quickly said back as he carried my sweater. "Sure?" I nodded as we continued walking. We walked up to the driveway as I looked up at the mailbox. I used this time to grab the mail. 

Jacob stood beside me.

"Cole.....Cole Volant?" "Oh thats my dad." I looked up to him surprised to see him with a shocked face. "Something wrong?" "O-Oh no sorry zoned out there." I smiled as I walked towards the door. "Well thank you for walking me." "Yeah of course." "Dont forget about the meadow." "I wont." He replied smiling.

I didnt know how to say goodbye. It sort of felt awkward. I leaned in for the hug as he opened his arms. "You're really hot Jake." I instantly felt my cheeks warm up. He began laughing. I pulled back punching his shoulder. "You know what I meant." "Yeah yeahh Im always warm actually."
