"Do you need a ride honey?" I grabbed my purse as I looked over at my mom.
"I'm actually gonna borrow Landon's car," I said as I patted my hair down.

"Well okay! —But before you go let me take a picture of you," My mom pleaded as she grabbed her phone. "Mom really?!"

"You look so cute in your white dress!" I smiled as I placed my purse down, "Fine—only cause I love you!" I awkwardly stood there as she held her phone up for what felt like years. "Mom are you sure you're not taking a video?"

"Uhh I don't think so...Well I see a red thing blinking on my screen?" I began laughing as she looked so confused. "You're so funny mom!"
"Hey don't laugh!" She said laughing back as she hugged me. "Well have fun at wherever you're going and don't come too late!"

"I will!"

"You're not funny Elle!" She shouted as I closed the door behind me.

"Hey Aria do you need anything I just got out of the house?" The sound of loud breathing blasted over my speaker. "Aria?"
"Y-Yeah sorry god I'm so tired!" "Is Paul making you carry stuff around?!"

The sound of her laugh got louder as I could hear her snicker. "No I just walked up the stairs!" I couldn't help but laugh as I could hear her laughing too. "And no I think we're all good and thank you so much for coming early I don't know what I'd do without you!"

"Without me you would have the lamest party!" I shouted as I backed out of the driveway.

As I pulled into Aria's garage I could see a car pulling up right next to me. I tried really hard not to look as I pulled down the driver mirror; fixing my hair. Stepping out I immediately locked the car as I stood in front of the door. The sound of footsteps got louder as I looked at the reflection on the door. It was some guy; curly hair, tall as hell, and maybe blue no green eyes.

"Are you one of Aria's friends?"

I turned around finally looking at the guy realizing why he looked almost familiar. "Yeah...wait correct me if I'm wrong are you Mattheo?"
He smiled as he extended his hand out, "Yeah I'm Aria's brother." I pulled out my hand, "Im Vera most people call me Elle."
