"Are you serious it's only been 3 weeks?"

I looked over at Violet as she brushed her hair. "Yup,"I managed to get out as I yawned. "I swear it's been like at least 2 months!"
"Nope I've told you already V! I just had a crush on him but nothing happened then." I threw my blanket off me as I got up.

"Ehh I think those months should totally count, well anyways what are your plans today?" I walked towards my closet as I pulled out some clothes.
"Im going over to Jacob's house he said his sister's here." "Are you nervous?!" "Should I be? Well anyways what about you, your plans?"
"Well I'm going out with my boyfriend!"

"BOYFRIEND?! STOP NO WAY! EMBRY?!" She grabbed the pillow as she threw it at me. "You're so MEAN VERA! I can't take your sarcasm." "Sorry," I patted her head as I walked into the shower. "See you later!" "Yeah,"I yelled out as I closed the door.

I shivered as I turned on the heater. God October weather is really hitting me right now. I quickly grabbed my dark blue sweater as I threw it over my head, pairing it with some stockings and a jean skirt. And lastly my platform boots.

I reached the doorknob. "Im heading out!"

Opening the garage I grabbed my bike as I closed the garage. Maybe wearing a skirt and biking isn't such a good idea. Ehh who cares.
I peddled for what felt like an hour but really was 30 minutes. The cold just made everything move much slower. I quickly got off my bike as Jake's driveway had another car, Rachel's.

I shivered as I waited for Jacob to open the door. "Hey,"Jacob pulled me in as he kissed my head. I hugged him back as he closed the door.
"Why are you so cold?" "Oh I biked here,"I said as he took off my coat. "Are you serious? You should've called me or asked Landon for a ride."

I looked at him as I raised my eyebrow. "I mean maybe the Landon part is out of the question but you should've called me."

"It's fine I'm here and nothing happened I mean a little hypothermia here and there but I'm fine," I smiled as he chuckled. "Hey Billy!" I hugged him as he patted my back. "Nice seeing you kiddo feel free to sit on the couch." "Are you sure there's nothing I can help with?" "It's alright Jacob here will be helping me." I laughed as I looked back at Jacob who rolled his eyes. "Hey where's my blanket!"

I heard a girl voice as I turned around making eye contact with Jacob's sister. "Oh Rach this is my girlfriend Vera." "Uhh yeah I'm Rachel,"she said hesitant. "Nice to meet you," I said extending my hand. "Oh sorry kinda got my hands full,"she winked as she looked back at Jacob. Her hands were indeed not full. She was holding a singular pillow.

I brushed it off as I put my best smile on and simply nodded. I took that as a sign to sit down on the couch and I played with the ends of my skirt.
"Oh yeah they should be in the closet,"Jacob answered. I looked up at Jacob as he sat next to me. "How's Violet? You said she's in town, right?"

"Yeah she left me in the morning to go hang out with Embry,"I replied as I emphasized Embry. He chuckled at the way I said his name.

"I mean you should see him he's so bubbly when it comes to her." "Yeah I'm happy for them!" He held my hand as I leaned my head on his shoulder. "Jacob, dinner isn't gonna make itself!" I laughed at Billy's remark as I looked at Jake.

He kissed my forehead as he whispered, "Be back."

I nodded as he got up. The sound of stairs creaking hit my ears as I looked up seeing Rachel coming down. She first glanced at Billy and Jacob then at me. She looked defeated as she chose to come to me. "Hey." I looked up, "Hi."
