2 MONTHS LATER.......

"Hey mom!...Dad!" I kissed their cheek as they entered Emily's kitchen.

"Good to see you again Emily!" 

Mom said as Em smiled saying, "Why do all the gatherings have to be at my place?!.....KIDDING!" I laughed as I stood by the door. I watched as Landon got out of his car with a baby car seat. 

"Landon?" He raised his eyebrows as he gave me a side hug. "You're babysitting?" I asked confused as he quickly came in. 

"Yup I mean I am his uncle plus need that family bonding time while they're out."

I nodded as I remembered that Arabella and Paul finally arrive today from visiting Mattheo. I'm glad it's finally warm out, that seasonal depression will be gone for everyone. I closed the door as I looked over at the couch seeing everyone together. It's the first time in awhile we've planned something where everyone can be here. 

"Want one? " I turned around as Violet handed me a beer. "U-Uh no thanks, V." She nodded as she handed it to Billy who gladly accepted it. 

"OH MY GOODNESS HE'S SO CUTE!" I heard as Violet squealed as Landon took baby Alex out of his cart seat.

"That newborn scrunch is fading away," yelled out Emily as Alex was now 6 months old. I watched as Landon carried him in his arms while managing to sit down on the couch.

"I never realized how good your brother is at babysitting," my mom whispered into my ear. I smiled," Yeah I'm very surprised but he better not get any ideas," I laughed. My mom's eyes widened as she walked over to grab a beer with my dad.

It took a while for everyone get use to the idea of my dad's mistakes. I mean who wouldn't he had been lying to everyone, but after Rachel's death everyone realized we couldn't live in the past, but continue forward and create good memories. 

Everyone settled in the couch as they all had side conversations with each other. I watched as Violet laid her head on Embry as he held her tight. I smiled knowing that he loved her unconditionally and I was very grateful for that. 

I felt an arm on my shoulder as I looked up. "Hey, how was work?"

 "Well same old same old but at least I'm getting money," Jacob said as he placed a kiss on my cheek. I scooted as he sat next to me leaning his head on my shoulder. 

"Ok guys! It took a lot of hard work from everyone but food is finally ready!" 

All the guys hurriedly got up as they raced each other to the table. I laughed as Quil nearly tripped Embry. "Asshole!" "Dick !" "HEY! No name calling," yelled out Em as Violet and I laughed. 

I got up as I moved over towards Violet as we were now the only ones on the couch. If you don't count baby Alex who is sleeping in his carseat, miraculously. "So how've you been?" 

Violet smiled as she looked at me, "Things have been looking good lately... Instead of focusing on the bad stuff Embry and I realized we were rushing into having that happy ever after and not fully enjoying the whole being girlfriend and boyfriend experience."
