Jacob Black

"Wake up, Jacob!" I lifted my head a little seeing my dad in the doorway."W-What?" "It's nearly noon get up." "Do I have too?"
"Yes go run this to Emily." I groaned as I slammed my head back onto the pillows. "NOW!"

"F-Fine fine."

I slowly began getting up as I put a shirt on. I walked towards the living room as my dad grabbed a bag. "Here give this to Em." "What is it?" He quickly slapped my hand away as I held it. "OWWW that hurt." "Just go give it to her." "Okayy." I grabbed the bag as I walked down the road.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
"Hey Em."

I looked at Emily as she hurriedly looked for something. "Emily?" "JESUS YOU SCARED ME!" I laughed a little as I placed the bag on the counter. "Sorry my dad said you needed this?" "Oh you're a lifesaver well your dad is." I shook my head as I leaned on the wall. "Where's Sam?"

"Oh he should be back any second now he went out with Ella." As soon as she spoke the front door opened. "Well look who it is." Sam put Ella down as she ran crashing onto my legs. "Looks like someone missed Jake." I laughed as I carried her up. "Yeah only one person,"commented Sam.

"I thought you loved me, Sam?" I teased. He laughed as he slapped my back. Emily stared at me as I held Ella in my arms.

"So what do you plan on doing?"

I was too focused on Ella as I finally realized she was talking to me. "About?" Ella tugged at my hair as I turned to face Emily. "Girlfriend?"
"W-What. I-I dont know.... haven't found the one."

"You know Jake you can have a girlfriend the whole imprint stuff doesn't really matter."

How ironic she's saying that?

"I didnt even consider that."
"Well you're getting old.. I wanna say 23?"

"Correct I've just been occupied with work and started up my shop, Em."

"What about that one girl that was around for a while?" "She was nice at first but was a jealous type."

I placed Ella down as she stumbled. "Hmm You'll find someone you just have to put yourself out there more." I nodded as the door opened again but this time the voices got louder.

"N-NO NO GO HOME!" The guys came running in as they sat on the table. "What's up, Jake." I looked at Embry as he grabbed Ella.
"Nothing much just getting advice from Em here."

"Ooo what type of advice,"teased Quil as he winked at me. I jokingly punched his arm as he tried to hit me back. "Shut up."

"Jacob needs a girlfriend."

Quil and Embry laughed in unison. "You too idiots,"Emily said laughing. Seth began laughing as he tried to hide it. I smiled as I sat down.

"You guys coming tomorrow?" "Yeah but might be a little late if you know?"winked Embry.
"Please you talk a big game but get all shy at the end,"mentioned Seth as Embry stared at him. "I'll get you next time Clearwater." I let out a small chuckle as Quil looked around. "Seen Paul lately?"

As soon as he asked I remembered Paul wanted to see me for some reason. "No he's too fixated with Aria,"said Emily as she grabbed Ella.
"Man if only I had a chance with her. We could've been endgame you know."

"Shut up Embry!"we all said together.

"Pauls been stuck too her hip since shes got that baby on the way,"said Sam as he walked up to Emily. "Oh yeah did you guys hear the news?" I looked at Seth intrested in what he was gonna say. "Paul thinks Aria's deadbeat dad is back in town." My eyes widened as Seth spoke.
Sam got quiet as he looked away. What's his deal?

"Supposedly he moved into the rez and brought his family."

"Wait wait wait....Seth you're saying Arabella possibly has a younger sister and she possibly might even be hotter than her?" I couldn't help but laugh as Sam hit the back of Embry's neck. "You're an idiot Embry,"I said trying to hold in my laugh.

"This is serious guys Paul doesn't want anyone telling her unless he's right." I nodded as I began getting up. "Where ya going Jakiee?" I rolled my eyes as I walked towards the door. "Out. See you guys tomorrow." I closed the door as I heard a yell.

"LOVE YOU MY JAKIEE POO!"

I turned back seeing Embry make a heart with his hands. I flipped him off knowing the real meaning behind his comment. Just a month ago I was with a girl who was hanging around my shop a lot and so I decided to give it a shot and well she turned out to be way too jealous and clingy. And of course in front of everyone she called me "Jakiee poo".

Embry won't let it go but at least I don't need to see her again. I walked to my house as I grabbed my car keys. I got in as I drove to Paul's house. It's a little far from the reservation but not by that much.
*************************************************************************

I knocked on the door as I waited outside. "Who is it?" I heard Aria's voice in the background. "It's just Jake." Paul finally opened the door as he let me in. "Hi Jacob." "How you doing, Aria?" "Been better." She leaned her head back on the couch pillow as she covered herself with a blanket. I looked at Paul as he got closer to me.

"Let's go outside," He whispered as I followed him out.

"What's up?"He looked hesitant to speak as he finally began.

"I know you're Aria's first friend here in Forks and well I need help on something." I shrugged my eyebrows as I was confused on what he was referring to. "Don't know if you know already. But I think her dad's in town and I dont know how to tell her."

"Before you do anything make sure you're right. Don't be giving her wrong information." He nodded as he looked around.

"If I'm right should I tell her? I-I mean she's pregnant can't she get like too stressed or something?" I shook my head as I stared at this idiot in front of me. "Yeah she might get a little stressed but would you rather her find out by you or some random person who knows that you've been knowing for a while." He shook his head as he slightly paced.

"Right now just worry about making sure shes okay I'll try to figuire out if it's really him, okay?" "Thanks." I nodded as I tapped his shoulder.
"It's Cole, right?"

"Yeah."

"See you tomorrow?" "Maybe..not sure If I'll go." I nodded as I got into my car.
