I missed being a fan

I woke up with the sensation of someone caressing my hair. I opened one eye and saw the beautiful face of Jinnie. "Wake up, sweetie, the show is about to start.". I immediately stood up and checked the time. Seventeen was performing in less than 10min ! I went to the mirror to check my face post-nap. A few touches up to be presentable, and I was ready. There was one step left : sneaking up without being noticed. Not that I wanted to hide things from the boys, but sometimes they were too nosy, and I clearly had nothing saucy for the moment. I looked at them, they were all busy warming up their voices, so the room was really loud. It was time, I tip-toed to the entrance door. I had my hand on the handle, ready to go when I heard Felix : "Where are you going ?". Fuck. Luckily, he was the only one paying attention to me, but I had to find an excuse to go out. I scanned the room in search of an excuse and found it looking at Nomi : "I'm gonna go find Changbin. He has to prepare himself too.". Without giving him the chance to reply, or worse to propose to accompany me, I went out of the room and closed the door behind me.

I breathe out, relieved. I struggled a bit to find my way to the stage, but after a few minutes of following some fans, I found myself in front row. I was happy to get the chance to see their performance. When I thought about it, I never thought about leaving the boys to see other performances. As a stay, my heart belongs to Stray Kids. But Seventeen had really good songs, and I was happy that DK convinced me to sneak out to see him. I mean them. To see them.

The music started, and the fans cheered loudly. The crowd hyped me up, and I was as excited as them to see each member appearing on stage. They were dressed up in very colorful and cute outfits, which drew a joyful vibe. They performed Left & Right, and to say Dk was on fire was an understatement. The man really drew the attention with his bubbly personality on stage. He was wearing a beige short, with a sky-blue shirt and colorful tie underneath a white jumper. He looked hella cute with his glasses on. I saw him scanning the public, as if he was looking for someone. His eyes stopped on me, and I shyly waved at him. He smiled from ear to ear and made a heart with his fingers. This boy knew how to spread joy. His bubbly personality was contagious, making me respond by making half of a heart with my fingers. He completed my heart with his, and winked at me before returning to his performance. I was genuinely laughing and dancing, just enjoying a timeless moment when we were all connected to the music and the idols.

It felt good to be in the public for once. Don't misunderstand, I enjoyed being backstage taking care of the boys. But I rarely had the chance to enjoy the concert as a simple fan. That was why I loved watching Stray Kids rehearsal, because I could have a piece of a concert in the role of a fan. Unfortunately, Seventeen's performance came to an end. I quickly went back to the backstage and returned to the dressing rooms. As I was on my way back, I couldn't stop thinking about my little interaction with Dk on stage. I wasn't the type of person who was confident enough to play along with someone I barely knew. But somehow, by just being himself, Dokyeom made me comfortable enough to act like we were long-time friends. I blushed a little thinking about his wink. The man was a bit flirtatious but I didn't mind. At all.

I came back into the room, trying to keep my thoughts under control. But I couldn't hide my slight smile. I went straight to the mirrors and started organizing my stuff. It was Seungmin who noticed me first. He eyed me cautiously and nudged Han, who was singing with Felix. He designated me with his chin, and Han detailed me too. They exchanged a quick glance before approaching each side of me. "Where were you, Sooki ?" Han asked, eyeing me suspiciously. I stuttered, always high on the concert energy : "I... I was bringing Changbin back.". He grinned and put his elbow on my shoulder. "Oh, interesting ! And why is he not there ?". I bit the inside of my cheek. I was so bad at lying, especially to my best friends. "He- he was nowhere to be found. So I came back.". It was Seungmin's turn to tease me as he mimicked Han's position. "Very interesting. And how do you explain the blush on your cheeks since you came back ?". I was screwed. If I wanted to escape their little interrogation, I needed to drift the conversation. "You both are standing close to me, and you are really good-looking. How can I not blush ?". Seungmin fell back laughing as Han smirked : "Oh baby, we know we are good-looking. But flattering will not help you.".

I was about to try another trick when the manager came in the room with Changbin and clapped : "Okay, everyone, time to get ready !". I took the opportunity and went to grab Felix. "Lix, it's time to do your make-up !". Poor Felix was clueless and didn't understand why Jisung and Seung were looking at us slightly upset. Seungmin pointed at me and warned : "Don't think this conversation is over, Soo.". I stuck my tongue at him and dived into my work.

An hour later, everyone was ready, and Nomi and I escorted them in the backstage. As they were concentrating before going on stage, Changbin and Chan went to us. Bin gave a quick peck at Nomi, who wished him luck. Chan and I bumped our fists. "Go ahead boys, and put that stage on fire !". He couldn't resist it and hugged me quickly. "Just for luck." he whispered. I smiled warmly and returned his hug. "You got this Chris". He winked before going to his kids. This man will be the death of me. Don't get me wrong, they all were really sexy in their stage outfits, but Chan hit differently. He was wearing an all-black outfit, composed of a sleeveless top that showed his well-defined arms, a pair of black leather pants with some military boots. I had to refrain myself from looking for too long.

As expected, they devoured the stage. They went wild while performing Megaverse, and the public was totally receptive. They came back all sweaty and out of breath. We all went back to the dressing rooms, I and the staff were busy giving them tissues to wipe the sweat and some fans. I took a tissue and put it on Minho's forehead to protect his bangs, took another one, and carefully wiped Chan's neck while they were focused on the rediffusion of their performance. I noticed Chan's ears becoming slightly red as I taped the tissue on his collarbone, and continued innocently, hiding my smile. After all, a little tease won't hurt
