After the Spanish Grand Prix, Severin casually suggested that Serena stay a bit longer in Spain. He wanted to show her more of his country, and Serena, who was wrapping up filming and promotions for Bridgerton, thought it would be the perfect opportunity to unwind before heading back to the relentless pace of Hollywood. The allure of sun-soaked landscapes, rich culture, and more time with Severin was too tempting to resist.

As she agreed, Serena couldn't help but wonder if her decision was driven more by the need to escape the pressures of Hollywood or by the growing connection she felt with Severin.

The latter thought both thrilled and unsettled her, leaving her uncertain about what this time together might reveal about her true feelings.

Over the next few days, Severin became her personal guide through the heart of Spain. Each morning, he arrived at her hotel, his smile warm and eyes bright with anticipation for the day's adventure. Often, they were joined by Severin's closest friend, Elliot, and his girlfriend, Carmela, whose presence added a delightful dynamic to their excursions.

Serena had met Elliot and Carmela briefly at the Grand Prix, but amidst the excitement and crowds, there hadn't been much opportunity to connect. Now, she was eager to know the people who knew Severin best and were clearly important to him.

One morning, they drove to a stunning luxury golf resort, nestled amid rolling green hills and overlooking the sparkling sea. The day was bright and crisp, perfect for a round of golf. As they approached the course, Serena noticed the shift in energy between Severin and Elliot—they were clearly excited, their competitive spirits on full display.

But it wasn't just their enthusiasm that caught her attention. As Severin stepped out of the car, Serena felt a momentary pause in her breath.

Dressed in a sleek golfing outfit that accentuated his athletic build, Severin exuded a quiet confidence that was impossible to ignore. The way he carried himself, the natural ease in his movements, was captivating in a way that left her slightly in awe.

She had always known Severin was handsome—the first time they met, it was impossible not to be struck by his chiseled features and intense gaze. But seeing him now, with the sun casting a golden glow over his tanned skin and the breeze tousling his hair, he seemed even more striking. His presence was commanding, yet effortlessly so, and Serena found herself drawn to him all over again.

Catching her gaze, Severin flashed a playful grin, his eyes gleaming with mischief.

"Ready to see us in action?" he asked, his tone light but with an undercurrent of challenge.

Serena managed a smile, though her voice wavered slightly under his magnetic stare.

"I wouldn't miss it."

Elliot chuckled, his Spanish accent adding a charming lilt to his words.

"Just be prepared to see me win. Severin might be fast on the track, but I've got him beat on the greens."

Severin smirked, adjusting his grip on the golf club.

"We'll see about that."

Carmela, sensing the friendly rivalry, took Serena's arm.

"Come on, let's leave the boys to their game. We can chat while they try to outdo each other."

As Severin and Elliot began their game, Serena and Carmela strolled along the course, the sun warming their skin as they followed the leisurely pace of the cart. The scenery was breathtaking, with the lush green of the golf course contrasting beautifully against the azure of the sea.

"So, how are you finding Spain?" Carmela asked, her tone light and friendly.

Serena smiled, glancing around at the stunning landscape.
