It feels like we just landed in California, and suddenly, it's night. I'm taking a walk around the neighborhood with Aryan near his villa. I had this place built up in my mind to be way scarier than it actually is, turns out, it's not even close to what I imagined. The further my eyes travel, the brighter the path becomes. It's like discovering a magical land within the enigmatic depths of a forest.
"I didn't expect this place to turn out so special," I break the silence between us, still ambling along and absorbing the beauty around me. "So beautiful" I whisper.
"Indeed," Aryan responds, prompting me to steal a glance at him, only to find his gaze already fixed on me. Instinctively, I avert my eyes, then return them to him, noticing his eyes still on me, completely unfazed by the awkwardness growing between us.
"Walk while looking forward! Otherwise, you might trip," a giggle escapes with my words as I gently place my palm on his cheek, turning his head towards the path ahead, successfully diverting his gaze from me.
A faint smile emerges at the corner of his lips as he removes my hand from his cheek, intertwining his fingers with mine. We stroll along until something catches my attention, causing an abrupt halt. "Wait, is that a calypso orchid?" I move closer, bending down to observe it closely until a broad smile spreads across my face. "Yes, it is. Quite a rare find. Can't believe I'm witnessing it here!"
"Seems like you have quite a good idea about flowers," Aryan's voice reaches me, prompting me to turn back and find him standing calmly, hands in his pockets, his gaze fixed on me.
My smile broadens. "Without any doubts!" I glance back at the flowers. "Flowers are like a different language for expressing happiness. Who doesn't like them?"
My eyes wander over to some other flowers nearby, creating a brief moment of silence between Aryan and me, which soon dissipates as he asks, "What's your favorite flower?"
"It wouldn't be fair to pick just one. Every flower holds its own charm, whether in beauty or scent," I respond, my gaze lingering on the beautiful flowers. "I like every flower"
"Shall we proceed? Let me lead the way," I turn to Aryan, noticing his hand extended towards me. I meet his gaze briefly before returning my attention to his outstretched hand, waiting for me to grasp it. With a smile, I place my hand on his, rising, before continuing our stroll together.
