I sit silently, watching Sara as she is busy chatting with her two sisters-in-laws and one of her cousins, probably named Mubashira. She is cracking up with them, sharing some jokes that are meant for their ears only.

"No I ain't telling it!!" she suddenly says out loud, the words seeming to escape unintentionally as her eyes inadvertently lock with mine, instantly wiping the smile off her face. Her gaze lingers on me briefly before she redirects her attention to them, her demeanor now visibly flustered.

Damn! It never hit it until now but she is cute!

I let my gaze linger upon her, and that doesn't go unnoticed by her. I observe her stealing glances at me, but I won't budge an inch. Not at all. The reason behind this staring game remains uncertain, whether it's to annoy her or for some other reasons. But all I know is that I can't take my eyes off her.

"Oh, sorry! I hope you weren't bored," I look over at Sara's brother Samir, who just settles himself on the sofa across from me. "It would be a lie if I say I was not bored," I reply, taking a quick glance at Sara before returning to him.

His gaze follows mine, and soon he chuckles. "My daughter was actually crying, so I had to swoop in since her Mother is busy with her bestie here."

"Go and play with Saad bhaiya. And Saad, make sure you take care of your little brother and sister, okay?" Our eyes are drawn to Sara's older brother, Sahil, who is engrossed in a conversation with Mubashira apu's son, while his two twins stand by his side, gazing up at their dad with their innocent eyes."

"Sorry, dad duties," he approaches us, glancing at his wife, then back at Samir. They shake their heads and laugh. "Anyways, Aryan, let's go, we will show you around," Samir offers. I nod, "Sure."

I turn over to Sara only to catch her already gazing at me, which instinctively causes her to tear her eyes away from me. I love how she gets nervous under my intense stare.

As we head out to the lawn, we settle ourselves in the chairs when Samir suddenly speaks up, "You and Sara could have stayed a few more days in Bangladesh. Both of you just got married yesterday and are going back tomorrow."

I shake my head slightly. "Actually, Sara had her whole schedule rearranged, and I've been working on a project. So, it's important for both of us to head back."

"We're planning a tour to Cox's Bazar, and it would have been amazing if you and Sara could join us. But it's alright since you both have made your decision. We can't force you anymore," Samir says, nodding slightly, and in the next moment, Sahil adds, "Yeah. But our trip to Cox's Bazar will be brief, just two days, as we too must return to the US for your and Sara's walima."
