My date with Aryan today will surely be etched into the most treasured memories of my life. We spent an incredible day together, exploring various places in California. I even gave him a tour of my University, sharing endless stories from my student life.
As night falls, I find myself seated by the pool, my legs gently immersed in the water. Sensing a presence, I glance back and see Aryan strolling towards me. "What are you doing?" His gentle voice caresses my ear, enveloping me in a comforting warmth.
"Nothing much, just reminiscing about the amazing time we had today," I respond, observing him as he stands before me, a subtle warmth gracing his lips in a gentle smile. "Why sitting here? You should get into the pool," he suggests, smoothly shedding his t-shirt, revealing his impeccably sculpted physique. I watch him glide into the pool.
I shake my head slightly, smiling. "Nah, I'm good right here,"
He swiftly dives into the water, emerges, flips his wet hair, and glances back at me. "You should totally come," he insists.
Water gently embraces him, caressing every inch - his hair, his face, his bare shoulder, all revealed above the water's surface. How can he look so fine!?!?
"If you're done checking me out, care to join me in the pool?" his teasing voice whispers into my ear, finally pulling me out of my thoughts. "I was checking out my husband. Any objections?" I tilt my head ever so slightly, casting him a theatrically stern gaze that elicits a chuckle from him. "Come here"
"No, I won't," I reply promptly.
"Really?" He inches nearer to me slowly, and before I can react, a cascade of water greets my face and body. My eyes shut instinctively, feeling the water against me. "Aryan!" I exclaim, reopening my eyes and retaliating by splashing some water back at him.
"I'm already in the pool, what's the point of dousing me?" he quips. "That's not fair," I protest, brushing my hand through my hair, attempting to rid myself of the water droplets.
"Then, we should make it fair, shouldn't we?" Before I can even process his words, I feel his firm grasp around my wrist, yanking me towards him, and..... That's it. I'm in the pool.
"Aryan Kabir!" I yell, making him burst into laughter.
I rub my eyes, dispersing the water and allowing a clear view of him. His laughter persists, dissolving the anger within me. It's the first time I'm watching him laugh so openly, his heart laid bare. Droplets of water trickle down his already damp face from his hair, his gray eyes glistening like precious pearls, a few wet strands elegantly framing his eyes. His mouth widens into a broad, genuine smile, revealing the true happiness that resides within him. This is the Aryan I've yearned to witness, not just in this fleeting moment but for all the moments to come.
"Lost in thoughts again, huh?" He pinches my cheeks, abruptly pulling me from the beautiful reverie of him. Just a moment ago, I was busy admiring him, and now I find myself shooting him a sharp look. DID HE CHANNEL ALL HIS STRENGTH INTO THAT PINCH?
