Things were going as normal as ever at the nine-nine...is what a stupid person would think.

This was the thought running through Detective jake peraltas head as be eyed rosa from the kitchen area.

"Jake, mind telling me why you've been staring at rosa for 5 minutes instead of doing your work?" Sergeant Terry Jeffords said not pleased that jake was slacking, not that it was anything new with him.

"Sorry Terry but i got a good excuse this time theres something up with Rosa." Jake spoke in a dramatic tone.

"What? She looks completely fine." Terry spoke not buying it.

"I dont know sarge i have to back jake up on this one." Detective Charles Boe said making an appearance.

"You always back jake up." Terry said unamused, the two were best friends and charles had a tendency to just fall in like with jake.

"True but it's true, earlier i asked for a pencil ." Charles revealed.

Terrys glared in confusion. "So???" Terry questioned.

Charles leaned in. "She gave me one sir."

Terry's eyes widened, rosa was notoriously territorial over her stuff. "Oh damn."

Detective amy santiago then intervened. " okay you are overreacting, rosa giving charles a pencil isnt that crazy, shes been in a good mood before guys, maybe she smashed something before she got here?" Amy offered.

Terry nodded. "That isn't out of the ordinary." He said believing that to be the case.

"Oh babe, i thought so too...until i started seeing that." Jake spoke directing everyone to the source of his confusion.

They saw rosa reading a text....and she smiled!!!! Not a smirk...Smile!!!

"Guys theres something wrong with rosa." Amy whispered in shock.

"See!?" Jake whispered back glad they saw it.

"Oh you simple children." Gina linetti spoke walking up to the group in amusement. "Theres nothing wrong with rosa...she just caught that love bug again."

Terry eyes widened. " No, No, i know she did not just take back Adrian again" terry whispered and groaned, she had broken up with the guy earlier this year he was no ready to see his crazy ass again! Not this soon!

"Oh no, it ain't him, this ain't that crazy love terry, its Love love." Gina spoke clenching here hands to emphasize.

"Ugh...we only knew adrien because he was a cop, we're never gonna figure this out!" Jake whispered in frustration, no way rosa reveals  without a fight.

Suddenly someone walked out the elevator, solid height, quite lean but clearly worked out, he was holding cup of fresh coffee, he then smiled and the group followed his line of sight...rosa.

Y/n approached and placed the coffee on her desk. " coffee for my favorite gal." He spoke in playful tone.

"Oh look a coffee i could have gotten myself thanks." Rosa spoke nonchalantly taking a sip.

"You could have gotten a cold brew exactly how you like it without losing your patience with the barista?  Heh next you'll say the Knicks will stop losing." Y/n chuckled.

The group stood in shock as they watched  the stranger fire back at rosa.

"Oh that poor soul i cant watch." Charles spoke in fear looking away.
