Karlach was looking around with a pout on her visible pout on her face
"Is something wrong karlach?" Shadowheart asked in concern.
"Hm...soldier is taking to long, he shouldve been back by now." Karlach spoke with her arms crossed.
Shadowheart couldn't help but smile, she was like a large child denied her bear.
"Then let us go looking for him, hes never been in baldurs gate and perhaps he got stopped by a merchant or two?" Shadow heart suggested.
Karlach beamed at the idea. " alright! This is is the same dummy who misplaces his rope-dart god knows how many times." Karlach chuckles.
Shadowheart raises her eyebrow. "Weren't you distracted by a butterfly half naked hour ago ."
"It was so preety!" Karlach defended.
Shadow heart just chuckled at her large friend and soon they were off, going from block to block looking for their leader.
Shadow heart then spotted him and he appeared to be talking to someone. " it appears y/n has indeed been preoccupied ." She poke
Karlach looked and saw he was indeed there, casual outfit and all, and she beamed and she jogged and then when she got close enough her ears caught something.
"How well do you know your significant other?" The merchant asked.
Karlachthen stopped behind a pillar, eyeing y/n and the merchant.
Shadow heart walked behind her. " whats the matter?"
"Merchant asking y/n about me, im curious to hear what this is about." Karlach whispered in interest.
"Eavesdropping on y/n?....without me?" Shadowheart whispered with an offended tone.
Karlach supressed a chuckle. "We stick around then."
"Then game is simple, answer truthfully and you get the reward, if the crystal finds rhat you are lying, you fail and no reward for you." The merchant speaks gesturing over to a crystal ball on a pillow.
Y/n shrugs. " simple enough."
The merchannt nodded with a smile. " lets get started then.. can you her in four words ?"
Y/n thought for a moment then smiled. " confident, free, silly, loving." Y/n spoke with a smile.
Karlach felt her face warm up.
"Her favorite food?" The merchant asked.
"Beef stew ." Y/n answered immediately.
"What is her love language?" The merchant asked next.
"Touch" y/n spoke easily.
Karlach was smiling from ear to ear at how fast he was answering.
"Your favorite part of her?" The merchant asked.
"Her personality." Y/n answered.
The crystal glowed yellow suddenly.
Y/n was confused. " that wasn't a lie."
The merchent just chuckled. " indeed that is my mistake, you answered truthfully but it wasn't the right answer, to clarify , i mean your favorite part of her, physically." The merchant corrected.
Y/n had a sheepish look to home, as though wondering if he should answer then decided. "Her ass, pardon my crassness."
"Oh shadowheart a gal could cry."karlach whispered in excitement.
Shadow just shook her head in amusement.
"Alright sir last one, what is the greatest thing she ever did for you?" The merchant asked in interest.
Y/n looked down with a warm smile. "....saved me from myself." Y/n speaks truthfully, who knows where he would have ended up if not for her.
Karlach couldn't contain her self anymore, she really was about to cry at this rate, she decided to quit hiding and marched right up to him.
Y/n was caught by suprised by her sudden arrival. "Ka-" y/n a suddenly grabbed by his shoulders and pulled into a kiss, y/n fell into the kiss holding her cheek before finally detaching. "Did you...."
"Every word, always know just what to say don't you soldier." Karlach spoke lovingly eskimo kissing him.
Y/n chuckled and kissed her hand. " when it comes to you, always." Y/n then looked to the merchant z " so what is my reward ?"
"O-Oh yes of course!" The merchant spoke with a smile recovering from the suprise arival. " your reward is a symbol of your love together."
The merchant suddenly performed a spell and in flash of red light briefly blinded the two warriors.
Karlach opened her eyes and was positively filled with glee. "Ahhhh!!!!" Karlach yelled bouncing on the balls of her feet.
Y/n couldn't but chuckle, it was a stuffed bear, a rather large stuffed bear.

"Oh My Goooddss!!!" Karlach yelled giving the stuffed bear a big hug.
"Not what you were expecting?" Shadowheart asked y/n watching karlach gush over the bear.
" No...but its perfect for karlach." Y/n spoke smiling at the sight, he then looked to shadowheart. " although i could have just taken her to build-a-bear." Y/n joked.
Shadowheart chuckles at the statement. " you may have to take her anyway."
"Soldier, shadow come over here, ITS SO FLUFFY!" Karlach yelled hugging and shaking the large bear.
"You're taking it back by the way." Shadowheart said as she walked.
