Y/n layed on his bed staring up at the ceiling in his own thoughts, it had been about a couple of weeks since belos was finally put to rest, the clean up in the boiling isles was going well and most importantly it was safe, for the most part, today was a sort of day off for him and his sister, she was down stairs with the gang, no doubt thinking about the next human realm adventure to go on.

He however hadn't really left his bed, y/n was still reeling from well all of it, especially.....

Flashback.

"Luz! y/n! Look!" The collector shouted as he floated back. " we can all be buddies now!" They said happily

Meanwhile belos started charging up another blast, which sent y/n on high alert.

"COLLECTOR!" luz said hopping onto string bean and flying full speed.

"LUZ NO!" Y/n shouted going into high alert and using a fire glyph spell to blast off into the air,  preparing a  shield spell as he closed in the collector along with luz , grabbing onto him and luz and encasing them in a shield spell, eating the blast  and getting sent to the  an un-infected patch of the earth, rolling onto the ground.

"But...but I thought I was doing the right thing?.." the collector said sitting up  in genuine confusion, he really believed he hadn't done anything wrong.

Luz grunted rubbing her arm. "No, no you did good collector." She laid a hand on their shoulder. "But this is a little more...complicated, and don't worry, y/n protected us right...y/-...." Luz froze and what she was seeing,  the collector widened his eyes in shock,  Eda and king were in a similar state unsure what to do.

Y/n kneeled up and looked at his  hand,.. green moss beginning to spread. " oh man...." Y/n spoke in defeat grunting in pain as it began to spread up his arm. " guys..." y/n began, the looks on his family's faces breaking his heart.  " looks like my lucks run out..ngh.." y/n grunted in pain as  the moss had spread through most of his body and chuckling .  "You have no idea how much fun I've had..." y/n strained as looked luz in the eyes with a strained smile a as he felt the moss  go up his neck. " take care of mom hermanita"  y/n began shedding tears through his one good eye as the moss has killed the other. " Te amo"  y/n spoke.

Unable to continue y/n fell over his body breaking away like dust and floating away like dandelions in the wind.

Flashback end.

Dying, technically speaking,  needless to say the boiling isles would be part of his life for the foreseeable future, and  after this grand adventure he and his sister had... he needed to vent.

Y/n got up from his bed, putting on some a hoodie and some simple Jordan's as he already had a white t, sweatpants and socks on as pajamas a bit of a bumy look but he didn't need to look that  presentable wear he was going.

Y/n walked out of his room and pocketed his phone and wallet, making it to the living room where luz and the gang took notice of his presence.

"Hey look who's up!" Gus said with a cheerful smile.

"We're getting ready for something called  the arcade." Willow said with interest.

"Weird name  but luz said there's all the games we can play!" Hunter said excitedly.

"Uh they aren't exactly free" luz chuckled, she then looked at her older brother from the couch with a sheepish smile. " speaking of..do you have like...25 dollars for tokens?" Luz asked as there was a strong likelihood she might get denied.
