    It was a rather warm September afternoon in memory!tale. After spending about ten minutes in line and finding a free parking spot the band had finally gotten themselves onto the state fairgrounds. Noodle was already running past her family as she looked in awe at all the rides and tacky cheap carnival prizes in front of her eyes. Russell chuckled as he slightly chased after his daughter. " Slow down kiddo! The fair aint going anywhere! " Despite Murdoc not seeming like the type of guy to enjoy walking around in the sun and dealing with carnies trying to suck you dry of your cash, he genuinely enjoyed watching noodle have a blast. 2d would fix his very sun faded ballcap on his head to keep his pale face from getting roasted by the sun beaming on the fairgrounds. His dad and mom used to take him to this fair every year when he was a kid so it felt like he was still a little kid as he admired all the colorful beauty of the fair.

After the band were able to catch up to the very energetic noodle Russell would look at noodle. " Alright kiddo, what do you want to do first? " Noodle would look around ... .hmmm...so many choices....she would notice the petting zoo and excitedly pull on her dad's hand. "Can we go feed the chickens and goats first dad? I wanna see the chicken fly onto uncle murdoc's head again and watch a goat bite his pants too! " Russell would cover his mouth with his free hand as he held back his laughter as he remembered this lovely scene from last year. Murdoc rolled his eyes with a smirk. " Oh please the chicken wasn't that bad. Besides it taking a bloody dump on my head... " 2d was unable to hold in his laughter as he chokes out some laughs. Murdoc looks to 2d with a smirk. " I'm sending the bloody goat on you this time, stu! I hope it bites you right in the butt! " 2d would look at murdoc with a raised brow. " not if it does it to you first. " 

    The band after a short stroll and silently trying to figure out what to grab for a quick lunch after feeding some very hungry and greedy animals so they wouldn't have to waste too much fair time knowing noodle wanted to do as much as she can would make it to the petting zoo. After grabbing their ice cream cones of dog food the four would walk in. right away without murdoc having to move even a inch a turkey wanders over to him and violently snatches the icecream cone out of his hand along with the dog food not giving murdoc a chance to feed any other animals. Murdoc would look at the very greedy turkey calling out. " hey i didn't say that was for you ya bloody overgrown thanksgiving dinner! " the turkey would completely ignore murdoc as it devours its bounty. 2d would chuckle watching murdoc as he lets out a snarky remark. "Well at least my feed wasn't stolen by a turkey- OW!" a goat would come over to 2d quickly snatching the cone full of dog food from his hand and nearly taking 2d's hand with it. Murdoc, despite normally being able to hold himself together, would start giggling like an absolute child at 2d giving the goat the most shocked look as he fanned his hand around to shake the slobber off it. Russell and Noodle would notice this scene. Noodle would laugh so hard that she would drop her cone letting the sheep around her devour it up. Noodle didn't care at all, only focusing on how silly her uncle and brother were being. Russell, who had already let a llama eat all his feed and the cone was just shaking his head with a smile at the scene. It hadn't even been a few minutes and the family was already having a blast together. 

      After letting 2d clean off his hand and calming down from all the laughter the band would head to the massive area full of fair foods of all sorts. From loaded and buttered corn cobs to massive turkey legs that looked like it was more likely from a fucking ostrich then any turkey and let's not forget anything that can be fried is probably here. After some bickering and debating with each other the band would all get what they wanted separately. Murdoc would grab a turkey leg that he was already hungerly ripping apart with his teeth looking like he was getting fucking revenge on the turkey in the petting zoo by eating its mother or father. 2d was eating corn on the cob drenched in butter, salt, and a little bit of chili flakes for a hint of spice. Russell was doing his damn best to walk with his family while holding a street taco in his hand, definitely getting some of the sour cream on his face. Noodle was munching down some mini corn dog bites while dipping them in a creamy cheese sauce while she looked around the fairgrounds trying to figure out what she wanted to do after everyone finished their small lunch.
