school mishaps

       It was another Monday morning in the studio. Russell was up early packing noodle's backpack with her finished homework and taking out any papers that noodle had forgotten to give him over the weekend. Noodle sat at the dining table eating her rushed breakfast of poptarts and some frozen breakfast sausage links. As 2d made it downstairs fully dressed Russell would glance over to him. " hey 2d. I know you're going to go to the pharmacy but by chance can you drop noodle off at school? I want to shower and get some cleaning done in the house. " 2d would nod as he glanced to noodle. " come on noodle. It's time to get going. " noodle would slightly pout before shoving the last piece of poptart in her mouth. "I don't want to go to school though...I want to stay home with everyone. "

Russell would glance to noodle as she fixes her dress. Noodle for the past couple weeks had gone from a kid who loved having time to spend with others her age to wanting to stay home. She had even faked being sick at one point to get Russell to pick her up from school early. It concerned him greatly. As he brought over noodle's backpack and lunchbox he would question her. " Is everything alright at school kiddo? I thought you were excited to meet other kids. " Noodle would look at her dad...seeming to hold something back as she shook her head. "It's just boring...and this place isn't boring. We're always doing cool stuff at home! " Russell, despite getting the feeling that noodle was lying to him, would sigh, giving her a hug with a smile, deciding to make a deal with his daughter. " how about after school we all go to itz? We can hang out there until it gets dark out. You just have to do your homework in uncle murdoc's car for me ok? " Noodle would perk her head up at Russell's offer. Her pout became a big smile as she nodded. " Okay dad! " russell smiled as he let Noodle take her backpack and lunch box before her and 2d walk out of the studio. 

       After a small seventeen minute walk 2d and noodle would make it to the elementary school. Noodle was luckily not late despite Russell waking her up a bit later than usual. Noodle would smile as she looked up at her older brother. " See you later 2d! " 2d would smile with a nod as he gives noodle a hug. " Have a good day noodle. " noodle and 2d would hug for a moment before 2d let's noodle go run off knowing she needed to probably get some of her sugar rush out from her poptart breakfast. He walks away hoping that noodle's day goes alright for her despite her not wanting to go to school before Russell gave her a motivation to do so. 

      As noodle made her way to the playground to go swing on the swingset she would hear a familiar chuckle behind her. It was from a girl who was older than her by two years. She had been bullying noodle about anything she could to make noodle feel bad. From making fun of her still having a thick chinese accent to her not having a mom and even teasing her about her uncle murdoc being freaky and ugly. Noodle would quickly turn her head trying to keep a strong and stern facial expression as she lets out an aggravated huff. " Just leave me alone..."

The girl would chuckle seeing noodle trying to stand up for herself. " I never knew your brother was that much older than you! He has facial hair and everything! " Noodle would cross her arms on her chest quickly getting defensive for her brother. "And so what? He's still my brother! " the girl would rudely snicker. "Sure he's. You two aren't even related at all! He only became your brother because your weird family adopted you. They just wanted to make another freak like them. " Noodle would clench her teeth in anger....she absolutely hated hearing her family being treated as nothing more than a freak show act. The girl seemed to notice how upset noodle was getting and decided to step on her toes even more. " oh please you have to admit your whole family are freaks at some point. Your uncle looks like he has mold growing on him, your dad is massive and your brother looks like a living corpse-" 

      Before the girl could continue to treat her family like freaky creatures who don't deserve to exist noodle would forcefully punch the girl straight in the damn jaw, making the girl fall to the ground. The girl looked up at noodle in pure horror as blood trickled from her mouth. Despite acting tough and better then noodle mere seconds ago ... .the girl would turn into a sobbing mess as some teachers on morning recess patrol made their way over quickly. The girl shouts out as she plays the victim and makes noodle out to be the bully. " N-NOODLE JUST P-P-PUNCHED ME!!!! I'M B-BLEEDING! " Despite noodle wanting to defend herself, a teacher would grab her hand before she could do so. " were going to the principal's office right now young lady! You know bullying isn't right! "
