Chapter 19

"So for Eliza's birthday, you want to participate in the gift ?"

"Yeah sure, that's coming up soon right ?"

"Yeah like two weeks"

"What birthday ?" We both turned to Cole who had until this moment been very focused on his video game

"Eliza's ? The one I told you about weeks ago ?" He still looked puzzled "Cole"

"I don't know what you're talking about"

"The sweet 16 Cole, the one where I said it's gonna be a huge thing"

"Ohhh the sweet 16" I threw a pillow at him knowing that he still had no idea what we were talking about which meant that he hadn't listened to us talking about it all those times

"I think I should tell Blake to get your ears tested cause I don't even know how you're so deaf"

"Says you" he threw it back at me setting his controller down and turning his chair to us "so when's the birthday ?"

"May 26nd and I don't care what else you might have planned cancel it cause I already said I'm bringing two people and you're coming"

"Chill, I'm going"

"You better"

"You're turning sixteen soon. Anything planned ?" I turned my head to Cole who just shrugged

"Soon ? It's in October Mel it's currently may"

"Seems very much like its time to have it all planned out" I shrugged taking my phone out and looking through it a little

"Your birthday is in like three weeks do you have anything planned ?"

"I'll just hang out with you two, it's not like I have many other friends" I laughed putting the phone down again,

"Yes you do"

"No I don't" I shook my head because I really didn't, which obviously sounds really bad but it was true. I didn't really have any friends beside Cole and Destiny, well now there was Walker I guess but we have never hung out with other people around, we hung out in person a few times now and we had another one set on Sunday

I might have a tiny crush on Walker but I'm sure it'll go away soon, or I at least hope it'll go away because I can't have a silly crush ruin my friendship because he was way out of my league

I still wasn't entirely sure why he texted and talked to me so much but I wasn't complaining, I rarely laughed as much as I did with Walker (and blushed too, that guy made me blush without a break)

Walker was at the Disney upfront event in New York with Leah and Aryan right now which was insane to me, I had never left Pennsylvania in my (almost) fifteen years in this earth

The more I talked to Walker about all these carpets and cameras and interviews the less scary it got actually, I still didn't want have to do anything with it yet but maybe at some point I might consider

"If you mess it up I'll kill you" I looked to Cole who looked unbothered by Destiny's attitude

"Calm down drama queen"

"I might have a crush on Walker"

"Well duh" I looked at Destiny a little confused by her

"What do you mean ?"

"Mel I've known that you had a crush on him since like... I don't know weeks ago"

"That is such a lie"

"It's not. Trust me, you're kinda slow at things like this"

"Am not"

"It took you 2 months to figure out you liked Austin in 6th grade" I scrunched my face up knowing that that was in fact true

"Well I can't have a crush on Walker Des it's gonna make everything weird"

"I'm almost certain that he likes you too"

"No way, he's like up there" I gestured with my hand as high as I could possibly show "and I'm like down here" I lowered my hand way far down to demonstrate the huge difference in the two of us generally, Destiny grabbed my hand and changed the ranking, making me stand way higher than Walker

"You're like at least here honey but you're way higher than that too probably, but that's also such a lie Mel, the guy bought you an almost $200 necklace because of the most random bet" I blushed a little gripping the necklace

"Who cares about that Des ? He could've made the necklace himself as far as I care"

"Yeah but it's the thought that counts and that was very thoughtful right ? He remembered you wanting that necklace and placed in order for it to arrive on time and if we're totally honest of course it's a little bit about money "

"He's really sweet Des, I don't know how to stop"

"Just don't stop Mel do you know how many people would kill to be in your position, don't ruin through self sabotage. Tell him"

"I'm not telling him, I'm not even sure if I really like him or not I'm still figuring all of it out Destiny it's so complicated. One wrong move and I'm on the internet everywhere with a bunch of people, who I've never seen before talking bad about me"

I got home at 2 am but finished the chapter so maybe that's all you need to know to think about it the amount of chaos that gonna happen
