After a few breaths I get myself together and meet Arizona and Mark up in the OR gallery.
"We should say a prayer, she'd want us to pray" Arizona says
"I haven't stopped praying since yesterday." Replies mark
Their surgery isn't working and Teddy isn't listening to anyone's idea of how to change it and the baby is in distress.
"Elena" Arizona says
I don't hear her because I'm so zoned in on the surgery that it's not until mark shakes me that I realize what's going on around me
"Yeah sorry. They uh, they stopped the brain bleed" I say
"How do you know?" Arizona says
"Because I haven't taken my eyes off of her"
"They're losing her" mark says
"They have to get the baby out" says Arizona as all of us run down into the OR
We're all turning our heads from Callie to the baby and neither of them are doing good.
"Arizona go" I say for her to go help the baby
She runs over and eventually things are staring to turn around
"I have a heartbeat" she says with her voice cracking
"Moms heart is strong" Richard says
Once the surgery is over I let out a sigh and sit in Callie's room

Derek is explaining everything and after he walks away I lock eyes with mark and nod at him to talk to Arizona
"You're not nothing. We have a kid together. You're a mom, I'm a dad. I'm sorry." he says
"She's gonna wake up. She has to wake up." Arizona says

Outside of the room I can hear Lexie and Addison talking
"Dr grey, remember the circumstances and how to act appropriately. Please go get a Tox screen and a breathalyzer on Elena."
"But She told April she didn't do anything?"
"Lexie, those are the words that make us do these tests."

Lexie walks in a few minutes later.
"Hey um, these were requested for you" she says handing me a breathalyzer and preparing a Tox screen
"I don't need those. I'm sober." I say
"I know I believe you but they still want it done"
"Lexie I'm clean"
"Then why won't you do it?"
I look at her face seeing an expression i haven't seen on her before. I grab the breathalyzer and blow into it.
"See, sober."
"Good! Now stick out your arm"
Drug test comes back clean as well
"What did I tell you" I say
"I know I know"
"Who requested it"
"Cant say and won't say"
I sigh as Lexie leaves the room and Arizona walks in

Arizona sits by Callie and describes the baby
"She's really small but she's strong. 1 pound and 1 ounce. She's got beautiful black hair, calliope, beautiful. She's beautiful. She can't open her eyes yet, but I can tell she's looking for you. Okay?"
"Arizona..."
"Hm?"
"She's awake" I cry
"Callie? Callie?" Arizona asks
"Yes" Callie murmurs
"Yes?" Arizona asks confused
"Yes. I'll marry you"
