My day begins with hearing about the chief stepping down and I'm now referring to Owen as "chief hunt". I decide to scrub in on an appendectomy later on because given the last few days I just need something easy.
Christina is also scrubbing in because she's "all about the basics" now.

"Who wants an aneurysm" mer asks
"I've got an appy" I say
"Alex can I have your pig" Jackson asks
Alex is doing pig surgery currently.
"No way dude"
"Does a pig Even have an appendix?" Christina asks
"I don't know" I say
April walks in a Moment later
"Do pigs have appendixes?" We all say
"I don't know" she says
"Ooh skills lab" Christina says running out
"She literally was just complaining about- Alex what the fuck are you doing?" I ask
"He's turning a pig into a lava lamp" April jokes
"Whatever" I say walking out

"Robbins"
"Torres"
"Jackson needs you to look at his pig"
"What?"
"Yeah that sounded dirtier than I meant it"
"You good Torres? You're kind of... ghosty"
"I'm fine. Anyway something about a pig with a cleft pallet he's in the pig lab"
"Alright"

"Dr Grey"
"Elena?"
"Do you have any Tums on you? My stomachs killing me"
"Oh god are you pregnant"
"Don't say that. Fuck. I mean I haven't had sex so there's no way but now you put that in my head. Do you have medicine or not"
"Yeah it's in my cubby you can take some" she laughs
"Oh no. You don't get to walk away now." I say dragging her to a supply closet and grabbing a pregnancy test
"You said there's no way?"
"There isn't. But now it's in my head so I need confirmation."
"What?"
"It makes sense in my head let's go"
"Elena again?" I hear a voice say
"Jesus Arizona you scared the shit outta me. And no." I explain the situation and now make both of them come with me

"See, It's negative."
"I knew it would be, just had to see it."
"You're insane"

Christina and I are preppy for the appy when her and Owen have the most awkward conversation ever.
"Dr Torres, is it Alright if Dr Yang takes the lead here? She's into the fundamentals right now." Teddy asks me
"Of course." I say smiling
"Do I still have to talk through my every move to you?" Christina asks Teddy
"Never gets old"

"What're you doing now?" Teddy asks Christina
Christina rolls her eyes and responds "I'm isolating the appendix. I am now cross clamping the appendix at the base."
"And what are you doing now?" Teddy asks when Christina freezes
"I can't remember what comes next" Christina admits
Christina is talking to herself going over the steps while Teddy talks over her about her surgical level.
"Please shut up" Christina says to Teddy which gets a few stares
"Will you just do it please?" She asks Teddy
"Take your time, it'll come back"
"No it won't. Oh my god. You don't know either"
"Don't try and make this about me"
They go back and forth like a broken record and oh my god is it annoying.
"You probably want to lighten at the proximal edge, apply a straight clamp, and lay down a purse string suture at the base." I say
I can hear the nurses laughing in the back
"Of course. Thank you" Teddy and Christina say
"Let's not speak of this. Ever." They say to me
"Got it"

"How did you know what to do, I mean you weren't even looking." Christina asks me
"I was watching. And I'm on peds 24/7 where every kid has appendicitis."
"Thanks"
I respond by puking in a trash can
"Schedule a CT" I say
"For who?"
"Me."

Few Scans later and it turns out I have appendicitis too!
"Dr Yang. Before I forget, I'd like to make a request that you are not my surgeon on this case."
"Request approved" she tells me sitting in the chair next to my hospital bed
A little later when my chart is updated I look to see what's on it
Lead surgeon is Bailey, thank the heavens. And Meredith is assisting.
I look at all my Scans. Torres, E. Labeled on all of them.

Callie walks in a little later
"They're letting me prep you" she smiles
"Thank god I cannot handle this pain."
"Anything else I can do?"
"Get me my medical records/history for when I get out of surgery"
"Odd request but okay."

Surgery is over and it's been a little while so I finally decide to look at everything.
I smile seeing the ultrasounds of the twins, getting stabbed and shot seems like so long ago, I come across the rape kit that they did which brought my mood down but it was quickly lifted by seeing Camille's birth.

End of the day results in the residents taking shots in my room while discussing their surgeries.
