Mer and Derek still haven't gotten a call from Janet and so they're both still depressed, especially Derek. Meredith is more in the super chipper denial phase.
Jackson's mother is coming to town and we all have to go to this stupid lecture. April is practically in love with his mom so she's excited. She's a urologist, and to be honest I don't really get the hype about fixing penises, I mean if you junked your junk that's on you.

Everybody turns around to look at her as she turtles into her seat. I'm trying not to laugh but I can see Callie laughing a few rows up.
"That's a start... let's see if I can get a few more. Ryan, step out here. Everybody, this is Ryan."
Everyone is looking at each other not really knowing what to do
"Ryan, show us why we're here today."
He drops his robe and holy shit
"Ladies and gentlemen I'd like to invite a few lucky residents to be apart of the worlds first penile transplant."
I'm almost gagging at the sight. That's gotta hurt.
"Thanks to a case of penile cancer, Ryan underwent a full penectomy 11 months ago. Good margins left him basically cured and cancer free so that's gone! And today we'll be replacing the other thing Ryan lost. A suitable donor's here at Seattle grace mercy west, and Ryan agreed to fly out and make this day a teaching opportunity. Who wants in on it?"
This time nearly everyone raises their hand and mark stands up
"Isn't penile reconstruction the standard approach in cases like these? Why a transplant?" He asks. Fair question
