"You're My favorite" mer says to me
"Thank you?" I say back
"Everyone else is gonna be late for carpool"
"Maybe they won't be"
"Wanna bet?" She asks

We pull up to the house, where mer, Maggie, and Amelia all are living and just like we thought, they're late.
Meredith and I take turns honking the horn and finally Maggie comes our brushing her teeth and with a shit ton of mail.
"Sorry! Sorry!" She says
"By the time I get to Elena's house she's all ready and waiting outside. God." Mer rolls her eyes
We're waiting for Amelia while mer pulls out her contract now that's she's chief of general surgery
"Sorry, I know you're mad" Amelia says while Maggie looks at mers contract
"You made a Face. please Tell me your naked butt is not on my car"
And that all leads to a good old sisterly fight!

"Mer, Elena, Maggie's ex boyfriend invited her to his wedding?"
"Ethan!?" I say
"Ex?"
"Oh Yeah. I forgot you were gone for a year, maggie and Ethan from radiology for like 6 months"
"Shut up" maggie says
Amelia and I laugh
"I'll tell her who you dated" Maggie said looking at both of us
Amelia and my face turn red and can't help but just shake my head
"No- Elena- god" mer says before walking away

"Dr Hunt" I say shaking his hand
"Yes?"
"Thank you for marrying Amelia."
"No problem?" He says
"Incoming Trauma" I hear and that's my cue to go

"Elena I had some time to think and I'm sorry I didn't put you as one of my bridesmaids. I thought it'd be weird having an ex lover up there." Amelia tells me as we're sitting on the couch in the lounge
"Don't be sorry at all. I agree with you totally."
"You sure?"
"Amelia, stop stressing" I say before she gets paged

It was most definitely a trauma that came in and the patient was 17 which almost got me out of there.
I'm sitting in the bathroom with Amelia curling her hair when her mom calls her and she slams the door shut on Maggie and mer
"Want me to leave?" I whisper
"No" she says while she hands me a Bobby pin
"I am sober. Because people get hit by cars." Amelia cries to her mom on the phone
I can hear that april has arrived.

"No one in the family is coming to the wedding" Maggie says a little too loud
"Mom, mommy please I'm getting married." The phone goes silent and Amelia asks for me to go in the hall.
